The castle was simple decorations. Most likely, in the past, she lived there.

Some people theorized those castles are gateways to the other dimensions if kaguya couldn't dimension shift anymore. But it was never explained not even in the databook...

Its probably just where she lives if she decides to stay in any of the dimensions. Considering it's a custom dimension, I'd assume she'd have to make a place to live right?

People thibk the castle is special but kishi probably put them there just for nice looks.
