Kaguya's 2nd Son (I was right last theory!) has ALREADY been mentioned by the name...

Stop saying "Second son"
You don't know who was born first. Say his name.

... the manga clearly states in no unclear fashion that Hagoromo was the FIRST person to be born with Chakra. With that said I called him 2nd, as in the 2nd one we heard about or other son. though judging from the chapter he is probably the twin brother of Hagoromo born minutes after. It could be that the legends are false, but that would be a little redundant at this point. I gave my theory on his name in the post, read it or at least skim.

That would be epic to tell the truth. We would need info on how Hidan learned of Lord Jashin though.

I disagree your theory is relying on a lot of assumptions like Kaguya actually being the Reaper and Jashin being related somehow. I don't think Kishi would be the type to use a irreleveant thing from dead characters like Hidan. I would really like for more information on Jashin since he is the only real god in the Narutoverse. But who knows we have to wait to find out.

It's not relying on Kaguya being the Reaper at all, that just seems likely given the evidence. Of course my theory is that Jashin is related to this, that is pretty much my main point.

Maybe but he seemed to have the same powers as Rikudou

Yes, but that was while they were young sealing the 10-tails. Who knows what happened after that. Hagoromo can ****ing time travel. Seems pretty likely his brother is epic. especially since he was mentioned so close to the climax of the manga.

pretty nice theory thanks...

Well true. actully I thought very long time ago that sage also has some evil partner just like sasuke and Naruto and Madara and hashirama. And I got only 1 reply in that lol.

Well I am agree with you . Sage's brother to be evil. It will make more sense if the Jashin is his brother coz there was only two gods that were shown in Manga Jashin and Sage. Sage is good while Jashin evil as Hidan represents him.
Also now it make all perfect sense why he is not mentioned in Uchiha tablet . Coz he turned evil created new power and called him self Jashin. Its possible that sage created tablet but didn't mentioned his brothers's evil intentions coz he don't want his successors to turn evil

Interesting theory and it would be an epic plot twist. BTW, it has been hinted that so maybe Jashin can return somehow through Hidan or if Jashin is still out there, he could rescue Hidan and then these two will be the new villain pair.

Yes, there is plenty to suggest that Hidan is still alive and suffering underground. He swore to kill shikamarru.

HOLY SHIT! How massively epic would it be for Hidan and jashin to pop back in next couple chapters and interupt hiruzen vs spiral zetsu.... Hiruzen and shikamaru vs the man who killed Asuma.

Indeed, but Hidan needs a new powerup to be more of a threat. Kishi did say in an interview that Hidan had more tricks up his sleeve but never got to show them. This is the perfect opportunity!

Never checked any interviews. Will now.

I mean really. Why was Hidan even in the akatsuki to start? He openly disrespected pain and everyone else. Didn't seem to e part of madara or obito crew. He didn't eat money, power, r art. He only wanted to kill people but the akatsuki held him bac from that more than anything. Why would he even e there? Or stay?

He wasn't really around LNG enough for these questions to pop up.

Great theory. It doesn't necessarily have to be Jaishin, and Hidan might really be dead, but the rest of it is certainly possible. I wonder what made him turn evil, they got along just fine when they were fighting the tree.

While I'm sure that Madara would be grateful to whoever saved his life if it was the person watching at the VOTE, he will go absolutely crazy when he finds out he was used. He won't be happy to know he was working on another person's agenda. +rep

Or maybe he wasn't mentioned because he died shortly after that

This is quite interesting...

From a logical standpoint - the Uchiha represent the most raw expression of Yang. Born with natural talent, immense chakra, and seem to just "Uchiha SMASH" anything with bullshit ninjutsu abilities.

The Senju and Uzumaki clans represent more balanced approaches.

A theoretical extension of that logic would have a hypothetical 'fourth' branch as the raw expression of Yin.

Jashinism would follow Yin to the extreme. Hidan had no amazing powers, per se. He just couldn't be killed. Moreover - he could stand in one place and pass any damage on to the target of his ceremony.

It's so passive that it's aggressive.

Even the idea that Jashin would prefer to use the actions of agents over direct confrontation falls in line with the idea of extreme Yin alignment.
