Kaguya was the strongest until Hagoromo was born

From this we cannot assume Kaguya was stronger than Hagoromo when he became Juubi Jinchuriki.

It is still possible she was the strongest but it is more likely Hagoromo was stronger.

I am a fan of many characters, especially of Naruto and Tobirama. But I am a fan of many other characters including Minato and Itachi. But it wouldn't be rational to mislead people. And it would just make people dislike these characters even though it is not rational to dislike character because of their fans or other people.

Well....I feel you make a good point. I thought this as well, but felt as though female characters in Naruto dont get such recognition often. So just let her have it.....

I see what you are saying...and you're saying that she "was" the strongest, but as The Rikudou has been shown...hes not that keen on the time of Naruto and doesnt know what has transpired. So she was stronger at that time....as everyone else was without chakra. In a way it would make sense that The Rikudou was stronger, but considering just how badly the Juubi wanted its chakra back...what she took must have given her power, the likes of which one cannot fathom.

Maybe he meant stronger than everyone else during her time where no one had chakra. Though....I truly believe that she is an alien and her race planted the God Tree for humans, but they deemed it taboo to touch. So she went down to show them what it was meant for....and once she tasted the power she chose to keep it to herself. Just a silly thought....

I think he was also referring to himself when he said that kids aren't as strong as heir parents. I mean it was a major theme in today's chapter and he did say that his mother was stronger than anyone else.

He said she WAS strong as she is dead now.

He said in normal tense that she is stronger than anyone else as she hasn't been surpassed. And he didn't deny Naruto's remark.
