Kaguya was sealed in the moon.

I want to point out these facts: 1. Haguromo created the moon to seal the ten tails/kaguya . When BZ said he altered the Uchiha's Monument I believe the only thing he altered was using the moon. Madara said that looking at the moon would bring upon the light of I.T. If Haguromo sealed the 10T in the moon and Kaguya was part of it then she was sealed in the moon also.

4. (This is not an Image just a fact):The moon is a planetary body orbiting the world. The moon was created by the first jinchūriki, the Sage of the Six Paths, through his Chibaku Tensei technique. The Sage collected a massive amount of earth to seal the physical remains of the Shinju after he used his Creation of All Things ability to divide its chakra into the nine tailed beasts, and then launched the stone prison into space, thus creating the moon.

I want to say the reason for using the moon was to release Kaguya from the seal that she was in. (THE MOON)

kaguya was juubi. shes already outside of moon. the IT was required too gather chakra for her.

It is just a speculation but i think the juubi just existed because the tree was a fused with kaguya ( Chakra fruit eaten)
Hagoromo sealed the juubi with in the gedo, but because kaguya ate the fruit, which contains as much chakra as the holy tree itself, it happened that the gedo wash´t able to absorb the hole juubi so hagoromo must use chibaku tensei to trap the remaining juubi ( kaguya plus Holy tree)
After that hagoromo absorbs the gedo and became the jinchuriki, then he separated it in 9 bijus but that would mean that a part of kaguya remains in every biju.
madara was able to cast the infinite tsykomi because there was a connection between his eye and the moon (kaguya) , like a magnet maybe.
That would mean kaguya isn't at her full strength and a part of her and the fruit and the holy tree is still trapped in the moon.
But i don´t understand the manga well at the moment, could be that i talk completely bs.

We still don't know the exact connection between Kaguya and the Juubi. Black Zetsu spoke of her will being part of the Juubi, so apparently, she is not identical to it.

The moon wasn't used to revive her, it was needed to cast the Mugen Tsukuyomi. Kaguya was revived by Black Zetsu collecting the chakra released by the captured people via Madara's body.

Also, Black Zetsu probably changed a LOT on the stone tablet. Hagoromo left it as a guide for his future descendants, probably telling them about Ninshuu, but Black Zetsu rewrote it into a manual for casting Mugen Tsukuyomi which would bring eternal happiness for everyone.
