Kaguya was a Juubi Jin?

I would like to hear an explanation of why her appearance is still the same from the past, when she has the Juubi now.

I think that after eating the fruit she became the new manifestation of the Shinju, where it possessed her years later. The juubi is Kaguya/Shinju in a weaken and deformed state after her sons took most of her chakra and gave it to the world.

She was shown to control the Shinju in the past, for her IT. So, it can be said that she is a Jinchuuriki, more or less.
