Kaguya is the one hyped to be far above Madara, the one who could dodge Rinnegan Sasuke's Chidori post Amenotejikara and dance through an army of RSM Naruto clones. She is hella fast. Sadly though, God Speed Kamui Raikiri was too much and Kakashi blitzed her.

Gai with the 8th Gate is definitely faster than her and faster than anyone in the manga.

All speed is determined by plot relevance.

Exactly this. Minato throwing his kunai while Gai was still stuck in air and taking those damn balls with him was lame AF.

Truly, all speed is determined by plot. Kaguya was slow at times when she could be faster (going by feats) like Naruto attacking her, just like how she was considerably fast at times like Sasuke attacking her (and Sasuke can travel instantly while Naruto is slower than the speed of sound).

But going by fanfic physics, Gai is faster because he can bend space, a characteristic of immense speed.

I'm not talking about real physics, and you know why.

Naruto only reacted to her the third time, having no clue the previous two times, just like Sasuke. Don't know what's even the issue here, but people just cannot stop *****ing. Not to mention he failed to hit Madara, whilst Sasuke did so. So no, his body flicker isn't fatser by any canon manga logic.

Sasuke couldn't Chidori her because of the gravity field, given the stance that is specifically required for it. She was still sitting down. It's petty as **** how people make stuff up here.

Gai has the fastest striking speed in the manga, but Kaguya has more travel speed.
