lol i never noticed that, damn. i think it has to do with the way sasuke used it, i mean he was pretty much slashing at will and we know how dangerous enton is once sasuke starts using it as a cutting weapon. its different from the normal amaterasu which she easily dispersed off. this one had a cutting effect so she played it safe and kept her distance. damn just realisng how op that kagusuchi was.

She didn't exactly "run away", she flew a loop, while moving Black Zetsu back in.

She extended BZ outside since she tought Naruto and Sasuke were immobilized and it would be easy to absorb their chakra. Realizing they aren't an easy catch anymore, she moved to a new position to come up with her next move (separate them).

It has nothing to do with "fear" it's just tactic.

BZ was like 2 inches out, one cant say that he was likely to be hit, kaguya on the other hand would get owned.

Separating naruto and sasukee has little to do with fact that she choose to avoid enton.
As i implied she most likely would've sustained some damage from piercing attack.
If we recall she has used some aura to tank PS, logically she would suffer damage if she hasnt done so she also choose to counter naruto's attack.
