This is one stretched out prediction, but going to try anyways for the sake of well ... predicting through my personal observation.
We all know by now that there was a huge gap in time with Madara between his defeat at the hands of Hashirama and his first encounter with Obito as an extremely aged man, completely relying on the husk of the Ten Tails as a means of life support.
Though in reality, the husk may have actually been much more than just a simple life support system to Madara, it may have been actually used as another means to reach Kaguya who he has been carefully planning with even during the course of her (apparent) death which could lead to a few new extra chapters explaining that certain missing time period.
Notice how he said "Now we finally... become one!" towards what appears to be the embodiment of Kaguya's will and/or chakra(which has been proved to roam freely as seen with the Sage of Six Paths)
It could be for a common cause, maybe through the means of love between Madara and Kaguya who have met through the statue's chakra's life support(though highly unlikely due to how Kishimoto is with romance in his manga in general), or Kaguya manipulating Madara to truly control the world from her own end by utilizing the Zetsu's which are still a creation of the husks itself which may contain Kaguya's chakra.
Any personal thoughts on the matter ? It was just something that came across my mind, so please don't pay much attention to it.
