Didn't Sharingan and Rinnegan also have 'bigger picture' descriptions like that though?

I'd like to throw something into your theory It still can have the different dimensions and all but there IS a pertinent question to be asked... Who is Kaguya's Baby daddy? Hagoromo and Hamura were conceived AFTER Kaguya ate the fruit and became the 1st children born with chakra, per Hagoromo. So are they a result of a dimensional rift that seperated them from Kaguya or did she reallt get down and use some lowly human to procreate? I may go start a thread and see what other's opinions are on this...

I don't really think it's relevant or affects the theory.

Plus I just really couldn't care less about the Kaguya family.

The land the limbo Madara's are in wouldn't be considered another dimension, because they're just invisible versions of Madara that are fighting in NV. Good theory though. It would seem that if there are other dimensions though Kaguya would've just sent team 7 there and left them there, sort of like Obito would do with Kamui. This would trap team 7 in another dimension with no way to escape, and Kaguya being free to do whatever she's wants in NV.

Actually, while the Limbo world differs greatly from Kishi's standard alternate dimension, its actually closer to the real definition. We live in a 3-dimensional world yet 1-D and 2-D things are contained within our world. But if you existed solely within a 1-D or 2-D world, you would not be aware of the additional dimensions beyond that. Therefore, we could be living within a 4th dimension yet have no knowledge of it. So the limbo world actually falls into this category, where all dimensions exist at one time but you can only see or perceive dimensions equal to or lower on the spectrum than your own.

So actually the limbo world falls snuggly into the idea of another dimension while things like the Kamui dimension deserve their own category. Its really a matter of what you consider a dimension.
