Agreed. It felt like a cheesy 90's movie/show, where the good guys kill the enemy quick and celebrate immediately after, only for the enemy to come back at full power.

This whole twist with Kaguya being the final villain is one of the worst-written shit I've had the misfortune of reading through. Why do people keep up with this delusion as if Kishi planned everything in great detail?

The final film is due in 10 ****ing chapters. That would be the 700th chapter of Naruto. There is NO time for Kaguya to return and continue the fight. There's no time for a new villain, be it Orochimaru or worse, Hagoromo (would even make less sense than Kaguya being a villain)
Just accept the face that this fight was one of the dullest and boring in shounen manga ever, especially for a final fight. Accept the fact that Kaguya was a godawful character that needed a freakin' talking sleeve to convey her thoughts and move the **** on.
