Interesting name, since Kimmimaro's clan bears the exact same name as Hagoromo's mother. Added to that are the strange horns atop Kaguya-hime and Kaguya clan's ability to manipulate bony structures in their body. Is it possible, that the Kaguya 'clan' to which Hagoromo'a mother belonged was actually the same clan as that of Kimmimaro and the biggie...
Are they aliens from outer space? (Blame History TV and kishi for that)
I think Kaguya clan's ability has a much deeper relation with the legend of the sage of six paths and origin of chakra. I mean, too bad Kishi eliminated the entire clan in a savage battle looooong before the current arc, but it would have been interesting to have some person from the kaguya clan come in play with juubi, which would obviously have a grudge against Kaguya for stealing the fruit in the first place.
Maybe juubi facilitated the defeat of Kaguya clan in some way as good old fashioned revenge?
