Is that huge thing we saw in the last chapter what gave Kaguya her name as the rabbit goddess

What do you guys think? Maybe the Juubi is a rabbit. The 10 tailed rabbit. Leave your thoughts below.

Hm, I'm really unsure what that was. I thought it was some sort of mixture of all the Bijuus somehow but maybe that was the Rabbit Goddess form everyone in Kaguya's days feared. Who knows?

Either it's her true form or her just her chakra manifesting.

Edit: ignore my previous statement that was here. It's a rabbit. Hopefully that's just Kaguya's influence, her being the rabbit goddess and all. I liked the lore behind the Shinju and the Juubi before. A rabbit would be silly compared to a god tree.

If you're trying to say those are rabbit ears, you're 100% wrong. It's clearly not the same juubi... for 1 the eye is horizontal instead of vertical.

Those are most likely ears. Notice how the Juubi's body is shaped just like Kurama who has long ears.

The Juubi right now is unstable and will probably look like more the one in the image once it is stable.

The Silhouette has the same outline as the Gedo Mazo. The Gedo Mazo has a beard. I reckon that Silhoutte isn't the Rabbit Goddess but either Hamura or Hagoromo before they later turned into a second Juubi.

As for foreshadowing:

The Gedo "spikes" are actually the tails. Remember how they turned into them?

Also, the Juubi that fought the Sage brother was Kaguya after they took her chakra, remember? She was not complete at that time.

NO... no it won't, cuz they eyes is different.

It's only a slight difference.

A lot of the 9 tailed beasts took on characteristics of Hagoromo (like the Hachibi's beard). Maybe this Juubi is only taking on characteristics of Kaguya (the Rabbit Goddess) because she is the one currently with its chakra. If Obito's history of the tailed beasts is anything to go by then Hagoromo also lost control of this chakra shortly before he died. Maybe Hagoromo's Juubi would have looked different if he hadn't stopped the process mid-way by splitting and releasing the Bijuu.

Losing control

i guess the more i look at it the more it looks like a rabbit. many of the juubis forms had a thing with spikes on the back anyway.

what do you mean they took her chakra?

they fought a non rabbit form

It's stated that she tried to take the chakra back from her sons and it was shown that they had the fruit with them.
