[Theory] Kaguya and Soul Dualism: Yin and Yang

Many speculated that Kaguya is the Death God (Hannya Demoness) of the Shiki Fuujin:

Many will choose one over the other: she is either the Death God or the Juubi

But these two hypothesis need not be mutually exclusive. She can be both.



We know that in Taoism, there is the cosmic duality of Yin and Yang.

This duality is also applicable to the soul: it is called Hun (魂) and Po (魄)

The Hun (Yang Soul) is the spiritual part which departs from the body after death

So it is possible that Kaguya's soul was split in two, either the Death God is the Hun (Yang Soul) while the Juubi is the Po (Yin Soul) or the other way around.

Nice thread! Personally, I think that she is the Juubi/God tree since Madara was surprised about finding out the origin of the tree last chapter. Also like you posted there was an image of her eyes.

It might be possible, since Kishi bases a lot on the Ancient theories. Kaguya when she died, might have her Spirit seperated in half. Han, and Po which have transcended to the Juubi and to the Death God, of the Shiki Fujin.
I think she is only the Death God. You know the reason why.

Nah, she's just somehow gotten absorbed into the shinju. She tried to take over Obito when he became the juubi jinchuriki (Probably was succeeding here

), but he got rid of her by summoning the shinju, then madara absorbed the shinju, and her.

Explains why madara didn't have any resistance from the juubi. Kaguya is somehow possessing the shinju, which wasn't extracted from Obito.

Or maybe Kaguya gained that appearance after eating the fruit, hence what we saw yesterday could most likely be the real form of Juubi/Shinju itself?

If so then she's could be a Shinigami.
