Kaguya's downfall was essentially established when she came back because she should be worrying about Naruto with all that chakra he's got (Reincarnated Ashura, Rikudō Senjutsu, Toad Sage Mode, bijuu chakra, his own, and likely a portion of the Juubi chakra when Obito transferred the bijuu chakra back into Naruto. Plus, in essence, Hagoromo transferring a portion of his power to Naruto and Sasuke means that if Black Zetsu is actually Kaguya's will, it's mother vs. son in a way) and because he's the Chosen One.
