Guys! Guy! I think I know why!​ Many, including myself think of Kaguya as a terrible character to end the story with, simply because she didn't even come close to live up to the hype and she did a even worse job at replacing Madara's character. She was weaker than we all assumed and far weaker than Hagoromo made her out to be. But what if we think about her character in a slightly different manner. We know that swapping dimensions costs her a great deal of chakra and we also know that she tried to preserve as much chakra as possible for her upcoming plan. (That we still don't know much about I may add.) Conserving chakra is already one downgrade to her full abilities, however I think that there is more to it. Remember how prior to Kaguya giving birth, there were no-one other than herself with chakra? The chakra was later distributed over generations of her children, hence why she is called the Mother Of Chakra. We assumed that she absorbed all her previous chakra when she re-appeared during the Fourth Great Ninja War, but I think we assumed wrong, and greatly so. Allow me to explain. Those who die in the Narutoverse enter the Afterlife, in which they are nothing but chakra, their soul in other words. This more or less means that Kaguya wasn't the first to have chakra, but the first to be able to manipulate it physically. This also means that every single person who died between Kaguya's sealing and the Fourth Great Ninja War is chakra that Kaguya never got to retrieve during her revival. This means that all the million of people who died also possessed some chakra, and all that chakra was lost to her. We know that souls carry chakra, as Obito proved it. He transported his soul out of the Afterlife and into Kakashi, granting him all of his chakra. (Hagoromo also showed this by summoning the Kage of previous generations and borrowing their power.) Conclusion The Kaguya we saw fighting against Team 7 was strong, unbelievably strong. But she was nowhere near her prime, in-fact she was millions of millions of times weaker than she originally was. (Lacking a huge amount of chakra.) ​

That really doesn't add up to what she and Black Zetsu was talking about though. (They were talking about preserving chakra.) Along with her Bone-Style jutsu, which was her primary attack, which is a precise attack that doesn't seem to cost a great deal of chakra.

Nowhere was it mentioned that she needed to recharge. She entered her core dimension once to dodge Naruto, and a second time to get the upper hand.

In fact there is a way simpler explanation: people confuse the acquisition of power with the knowledge of how to use it. In Kaguya's era, everyone aside from her were simple people, she could kill them all way too easily, they didn't have weapons to conter chakra. However, when she came back, there were shinobi who had developed the mastery of chakra, to that extent Kaguya can even be considered a novice. She was indeed the progenitor of all chakra but she didn't know how to fight, she was just overpowering everyone with her brute force. That being said, Madara might have been weaker than her but he was a master shinobi who had strategical skills, and in general skills that one can only get through a battle. But Kaguya, she never had to fight and thus had no such knowledge, that's why she couldn't keep up with Naruto and Sasuke.

Also, there were no ninjustsu fighting at her time of reign as she held all chakra (assuming) also, how do you rush a fight when you plan on ending the series at 400 chapters and an even bigger fight comes right after? Also that the MC cannot defeat her due to only having hagoromo's power?

For her , it's a precious field that needs 1000 years to produce enough ninjas (chakra pools) and animals with life force (humans , dogs and cats...) , to harvest the amount of chakra and life force that she needs to raise an army.

Her bullshit about all chakra being hers is just herself lying to herself.Naruto or Kurama or any ninja create chakra , I don't see why this newly created chakra would be Kaguya's.She is just divaguing.
She was the 1st to discover how to use chakra (she thinks she was) , and she convinced herself that she deserved all the chakra that exists just because she thinks she was the first to discover it.

They don't create chakra, as they have a pool limit, it just recharges, doesn't matter as its all Kaguya's.

No she doesn't, and the wolrd originally didn't have chakra in the first place, not until Hagoromo spread HER chakra across the world.

The Manga AND Databook states that Hagoromo spread Kaguya's chakra throughout the world through Ninshu, as Ninshu was the art of connecting everyone together through chakra. And that all of the worlds chakra was firstly Kaguya's own.

She didn't discover how to use it, she was the first person with chakra within her, as originally all Natural energy was within the Chakra fruit.
Hagoromo and Hamura were stated to be the first people BORN with CHAKRA. And Kaguya was stated to be the originator/progenitor of chakra


So tell me, what does these direct statements mean?

What a silly topic, of course Kaguya lost and its not because of power, she didn't lack anything in that department. It was her skill, to put it mildly she sucked. Chakra can't be "lost" you misinterpret what she was meaning, it wasn't a literal statement of "that's my chakra" it was a declaration of ownership of ALL chakra regardless of where it came from. Her strength comes from the combined tailed beasts by no means was her power reduced by breeding. The only direct chakra she perhaps ever lost was when Hagaromo and Hamura were born from her, and even that is arguable. The rest was used to create the tailed beasts, she was as strong now as she was back then.

Take what Naruto said during their battle, she knew nothing of the history of ninja. Aka what he was meaning wasn't just the fact she didn't know of their troubles or trials, she had no idea what she was up against. Her mind was dull and her skills weak, she was up against two of the strongest most skilled ninja of the era.

Its no surprise that they ate her alive even with all her power, she simply had no idea how to use it. An untrained princess with all the power of the world....impressive but still an untrained civilian with immense power. Against two finely tuned warriors even with weaker powers she was simply out classed, she also lacked the will to win.
