Kageyama=Shikimaru?

I am a long time fan of Naruto, but I just started watching Fairy Tale. I'm sure I'm not the first to notice, but I wanted t see who else saw a connection between Kageyama and Shikimaru. They look like, for one.Also, they both use shadows as their main weapon. This can't just be a coincidence.

I have yet to read or watch Hunter x Hunter so I could not say.

Kage means shadow. So.... Just look at the name, and you'll see a connection. Hokage means fire shadow, kazekage means wind shadow, etc. Kage bunshin means shadow clone....

I'm not completely caught up with FT yet, but I've heard there are a lot of similarities in OP and Naruto that are in FT.

I say who cares and just enjoy them all.
