Dean makes his way to the training field, where he will be teaching a new student, the ways of Illusionary Arts. Dean hadn't heard of this guy before, but he was about to find out just what type of person it was. Dean had a bag on his back, which contained various scrolls, and his alcohol. Finally making it there, Dean clears his throat as he says.

"I'm Dean Winchester, of the Nekura Clan. I will be teaching you Genjutsu. Now tell me, what do you know about Genjutsu in the Narutoverse? How does it work? How can one break it? Anything that you can get on it. Oh, and what's your name? Or I'll just call you Baldy."

Dean waits for his student to answer.

Saitama looks at this person who claims they're going to be his teacher. He answers his questions however.

Genjutsu is a way to induce hypnosis on your target by sending your chakra into their brain and disturb their five senses. The techniques for genjutsu involve what you want your opponent to experience and can be useful for making your opponent distracted enough to beat them. To break out of a genjutsu you first need to know you are in a genjutsu and only afterwards can you release an extra amount of chakra than usual which would override the opponents chakra in your brain and snap you back to reality. My name is Saitama but you can call me Caped Baldy, Baldy, Mr.Oppai or One-Punch Man.

"Its not really hypnosis, but rather an illusionary effect which affects the five senses. And although Genjutsu can be used for distraction, it can change the tide in battle if done right. Although your explanation was on the right path, you didn't give me enough on what you stated. Allow me."

Dean says as he clears his throat, getting ready to go more in depth with the Genjutsu explanations.

"Like you said, Genjutsu works through disturbing the chakra flow of the opponent. Usually, its balanced, the spiritual and physical energies. When the Genjutsu is induced, it scrambles the link between the "spirit" and "body", thus causing the senses to be affected. A genjutsu is usually done through a trigger like hand seals, a certain sound, and even through eye contact.

Now could you give me a more in-depth description of how one can detect Genjutsu? We'll take it step by step."

A person detects they're in a genjutsu when their environment suddently changes without the opponent having done anything or them being tied up or feeling like something is off with the sequence of events. I don't know how else to explain it. This can be something they seen, smelled, heard or touched before they found themselves in the genjutsu.

Sorry for the late reply.

"Indeed, you are right. I just wanted you to expand a bit upon it, like yes, subtle changes could cause you to notice that you are in a Genjutsu but some Genjutsu techniques take a much more trained eye to notice. Through help of being a sensor or having a Doujutsu, one could easily notice the imbalance of the chakra flow and reset it. Though without said help, one needs to make an educated guess and spike said chakra either with the Kai technique or pain, but we'll cover that next. What do you know about releasing a Genjutsu?"

Dean asked as he crossed his arms.

The only thing I know is depending on the genjutsus level you can either spike up your chakra or use kai as you said. However if you're in a position where neither are working then you can resort to inflicting injury on yourself which will alert your brain to focus on the present and not get swept in some dream world.

Also don't worry. I was much worse for not replying for months.

"You are somewhat correct, though it does depend on rank as you mentioned. Nonetheless, let me go into detail. It doesn't really alert the brain, but rather, spikes your physical energy, and causes it to "reset" in a sense. This breaks the Genjutsu, since the Genjutsu through causing the imbalance in the energies, as stated before. There are several ways of breaking an illusion. First one, Pain. Since pain causes the physical energy to spike and then reset, it breaks the Genjutsu, however, the amount of pain depends on the rank of the Genjutsu used."

D Rank Genjutsu: Chipping a Finger (like one does as he bites to draw blood for a Summoning Jutsu)
C Rank Genjutsu: Low level Physical Attacks, Bitting a chunk of your Cheek
B Rank Genjutsu: Low ranked Taijutsu/Freestyle
A Rank Genjutsu: High ranked Taijutsu, Stabbing Yourself in minor muscle, Cutting yourself, Breaking Smaller bones, Low level Burning/Voltage, Painful Cold
S Rank Genjutsu: EIG/Sage level Taijutsu, Breaking Bones, Deep Stabs or cuts, Medium Voltage/Burning, Extreme Painful Cold, Bitting your tongue off
"Secondly, we got disturbing the spiritual energy and spiking it, in order to get a reset and break the Genjutsu. This is done through creating a surge of chakra. This is seperated into two parts too, one being Kai and the other being techniques which release a large amount of chakra from your tenketsu like Chirdori Nagashi or Earth Hardening.

Lastly, altering the chakra flow through the introduction of foreign chakra into your body, which would also reset your chakra flow and break the Genjutsu set upon you. This can be done through being Jinchuriki and your Bijuu helping you out, activating Curse Mark, entering Sage Mode etc. Now for any of these methods to work, you need to first have a valid reason as to why, or how you deducted it was a Genjutsu."

Dean then cleared his throat and took a drink from his bottle of Gin, as he looked at Saitama.

"Last, but not least, what do you know about layering Genjutsu?"

Saitama kept nodding throughout the whole thing while answering " I know nothing about Genjutsu layers, sorry but I'm a complete newbie at this".

Dean simply took a sip from his Vodka bottle, as he needed the strength. Did no one care about Genjutsu anymore these days? Or were they simply too lazy to find out? He always had to do extensive explaining, and even then, the students would still be left with questions afterwards.

"Alright, basically Layering Genjutsu is to cast more than one non-conflicting Genjutsu on the opponent (two maximum). This mixes the illusions, and makes them deeper, or more difficult to break. Now it goes like this, you cast one Genjutsu after the other and the higher ranking one must be used first (Say you use an A rank and then a B rank one) for it to work. However, if you cast a lower ranking one first, and the higher ranking one second (say a B rank and then an A rank one), then the higher ranking one will flush out the lower ranking one and it will simply be one illusion. So to layer Genjutsu together, use the higher ranking one first.

Ex: Genjutsu A - Creates Butterflies, A ranked.
Genjutsu B - Creates Squirrels, B ranked.

A + B = Butterflies AND Squirrels
B + A = Butterflies NO Squirrels
To release from a layered Genjutsu, is simple. You use the same rules I elaborated on before, and simply break the higher ranking one of the two, which would release the complete Genjutsu, breaking both simultaneously. If you break the lower ranking one first, the higher ranking one still exists and would simply continue. If both Genjutsu are combined, its rank is that of the highest ranking one used. Now, like I said, to layer Genjutsu, two non-conflicting Genjutsu must be used. If the Genjutsu are conflicting, they would simply break each other, the higher ranking one prevailing. If they are equal in rank, they would just cancel out and no Genjutsu would be cast."

Dean cleared his throat as he looked at Saitama.

"Got any questions?"

No, I understand everything now, thanks for the explanation.

"Alright, now we'll move on to the techniques themselves. My way of doing things is simple, I will explain the technique to you and I want you to perform it, give me at least 2 advantages and disadvantages of the technique and also, how you would use it in battle. I think this is clear enough.

Now for the first technique, its quite simple. You will use your chakra to induce an illusion on your opponent, which causes him to see the terrain around him change. The terrain is changed according to your will or choice, meaning you can mask something with this Genjutsu, or add something, however, only terrain related. So you could create an artificial pit, or create a fake forest. The possibilities are quite a lot, but be sure to keep it within the boundaries of the terrain. Use it against my clone (plus the other stuff I mentioned)."

Dean creates a clone that runs towards Kagetora.

Saitama focuses his chakra to disrupt the clones five senses and make him experience the terrain having become a jungle and them standing on tree branches, he then throws a kunai with paperbomb infront of the clone which from the clones angle looks like he threw it far away because they're standing on branches but in reality the branch is blocking the vision of the kunai which is right infront of him and detonates as he was running, making the clone disperse.

Advantage: Good technique for blocking the opponents field of vision or distracting the opponent by changing the terrain, taking their focus away from the actual battle and what their opponent is actually doing.
Disadvantage: Changing the terrain from the opponents perspective does very little in of itself, it depends on the opponents reaction and what they decide to focus on. For this technique to work you need to make subtle changes in the environment, one that doesn't make the opponent second guess themselves which would lead them to figure out it's a genjutsu and snap out of it.

I would use this technique sparingly if there is something that I don't want the opponent to see, I might create an illusion of a changing terrain after I've already blocked the opponents vision somehow which lets me hide myself or a weapon.

"Very good, keep it up. Here you go."

Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10 (+5 if you use it double)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion over an area that allows him to manipulate the way an area looks to fool an opponent. He can only change the way the terrain looks, and not any other feature.

"Let's move on to the next technique. Through the usage of 5 hand seals, you will induce a Genjutsu on the opponent. The opponent will see you dissolve into a shower of cherry blossoms petals. These petals surround the opponent, and block their vision, which masks your movement and allows you to strike. This technique is nice because there is a Ninjutsu technique that almost does the exact same thing. You know what to do."

Dean creates a clone that runs towards Saitama.
