If you didn't know, it was a reference to the entry of Yamata no Jutsu in the third databook.

The third databook said that Yamata transcends snakes, and becomes like a dragon god.

Could only find a Portuguese scan but w/e. "Como um "Deus Dragão", que supera a "Grande Serpente"..."

No, it's a reference to Japanese Mythology where Snakes (and pretty much anything with scales, really) can become a dragon through various means. In this case, Kabuto becomes a dragon by having a huge ego.

Japanese, Chinese and other Asian Dragons are serpents with horns. Kabuto learned Snake Senjutsu, but then amped it up with Juugo CM senjutsu, Uzumaki vitality, and the Hydrification jutsu of the Hozuki Clan (Suigetsu, Gengetsu/Trollkage).

No, it is a reference to Oro.

Don't tell me you forgot why Kabuto did that? He did it on his journey to copy Orochimaru. Yamata was his strongest technique, as was SM for Kabuto.
