And he fought in a place of his advantage, in general scenario DSM won't be as effective as he was in that fight...

I was talking about his speed while traveling underground. So not only can he evade things by hiding deep in the ground but also he can move while in that state, move really fast. Moreover 'They can also sense what is happening on the surface and use that information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy.'

everyone in the top ten has access underground or a way to get at kabuto if he travels underground. you have no evidence to suggest he can properly turn into sage mode while keeping a jutsu active.

nah snake mode was good, it had really nasty techs. hes in top 10 but I cant believe orocihmaru wasn't the one that showed it. It would have been nice to see jiraiya and orocihmaru in a fight together fighting with sage modes.

that's story telling from kishi and that's still not a legit proof,since there's nothing indicating he was preparing SM.

that is indicating hes prepping SM. how else would he dodge sasuke's arrow if he wasn't prepping SM? and why would he randomly be crapping himself out of a snake's mouth?

I fear a comic book character? whats not to understand? he is limited when he isn't in the cave because the obvious prep time entering SM takes for him. naruto doesn't' need to crap himself out of a frogs mouth to enter SM

I cba finding the scan of Kabuto and Kakashi in the hospital to prove that his speed isn't pitiful.
It pretty much says that Kabuto >= Kakashi in speed and this is without Orochimaru's cells. Also it's in the beginning of P1.

It pretty much says that Kabuto >= Kakashi in speed and this is without Orochimaru's cells. Also it's in the beginning of P1.

Nagato's biggest weakness is genjutsu. Kabuto doesn't need DSM to use Tayuya's jutsu.

Look like I was too tired to remember what the scan looked like. Well I was wrong but, still his speed isn't pitiful. Even without a "speed that can't compete with anyone in the top 10" he has DNA from Jugo, Sugietsu, Karin, Orochimaru, and the Sound Five.

Also he is always absorbing nature energy so, technically there is no prep time needed for him to enter SM.

Well he maintained 2 chakra scalpels while traveling underground so I see no reason why he wouldn't be able to simply gather chakra.

I say he is very underrated.
Defeated only because of that bullshit plot kinjutsu Izanami.
Kabuto was wrong'd in this battle.
I would have rather him defeated by Amaterasu or something.

I say he is underrated.

My reasons:

• He can make inorganic things move, doesn't matter if he is in a cave or not, as long as there is something inorganic near him, he can manipulate it.
  
• Sage mode is passive, therefore, the only weakness he would have had is made redundant, he does not have to stand still and he can therefore remain in sage mode indefinitely.
  
• The only genjutsu that is effective enough against him is izanami, and the only reason he was caught in it, was due to it being from an edo and an asspull.
  
• Sense's are like other sage modes and incredibly good.
  
• Sage mode grants him speed feats, being able to cut itachi in half in the blink of an eye, he is the closest thing to KCM Naruto.
  
• Manda 2 summon which is better than any snake summon seen in the manga.
  
• Has Suigetsu's ability to liquefy himself, therefore is he does get hit, ten he can liquefy. (only problem would be lightning style users).
  
• Has edo tensei, which will just ass rate most shinobi.
  
• If the fight is outside and CQC, then he can use the sound and vision jutsu to impair his opponent and take advantage of that. Don't forget it was enough to disable itachi and Sasuke.

as shown in the manga it takes him a considerable amount of time to enter sage mode. outside of the cave he hides in, how does he not get annihilated while trying to enter SM by almost everyone in the top ten?

edo tensei is the only thing that would save him from being blitzed and that isn't his power or usable in a VS thread unless specified


edo takes prep time right?

so why would we give kabuto a jutsu that takes prep to use and not everyone else?

can we not just give Konan her million paper bombs from the start of every fight? NO

do we give sasuke a fully prepped kirin at the start of every fight? NO

so why would we give kabuto his fully prepped jutsu at the start of a fight?
