[Theory] Kabuto's Return.

hello people,

Here's my little theory about Kabuto possibly being un-affected by Infinite Tsukuyomi.

So we'll start with what Sasuke said here.

"All of the people outside have probably been affected by it"...

"We might be the only ones safe"

This tells us that Sasuke's not 100% sure.

So we could say that there 'might' and 'probably' is someone who isnt affected by the genjutsu right?

At first I read what BZ was saying as statements, but then I noticed the three question marks.

He's got 2 questions and he has two possible answers but the question's essentially the same thing - How?

How is he not affected by the justu?

Is the Rinnegan repelling the justu or is Susanoo blocking the light?...

But isn't the light part of the justu..? Aren't they both the same thing..?

Sasuke says, "people fall into the genjustu due to the moonlight" - This is a statement unlike BZ's questions.

Then BZ says, "So it really wasn't letting light through". - This further confirms that the 'light' is the entrance into the genjustu.

BZ said this after the Moons-light stopped shining, and after Sasuke stood up with Susanoo's wings spread apart. So when BZ says - "So it really wasn't letting light through" - 'It' must be referring to Sasuke's Susanoo and not his Rinnegan.

But we all know that Sasuke had Perfect Susanoo before he birthed his Rinnegan, So even without Sasuke's Rinnegan he should still be able to block the Moons-light.

But here's what I find interesting..

Remember when Kabuto used the Sage Art: White Rage Technique in the battle against Sasuke and Itachi.

According to Naruto Wikia - Kabuto can close the cornea of his eyes to completely block the harmful light.

After forming the necessary hand seals, the user expels a dragon-like entity from their mouth that carries an orb in its left front claw. As the dragon tightly coils itself around the orb, it releases both blinding light and deafening sound. This alone greatly hinders those in the vicinity but, due to the intensity of the resulting vibrations, paralysing pain is also induced. Thus, the technique both briefly inhibits the opponent's senses, as well as techniques that require their active concentration.

According to Kabuto, only he is capable of functioning normally whilst this technique is in effect, thanks to the properties of his Sage Mode and his adopted abilities. Due to his snake characteristics, Kabuto can close the cornea of his eyes to completely block the harmful light, whilst instead relying upon the enhanced perception of his other senses to compensate for his obstructed vision. He can also liquefy the insides of his body in order to negate the effects of the harsh sound vibrations.

Wait what?... In the second paragraph above it says "According to Kabuto"...

Now you've gotta ask yourself, how many times has Kabuto been wrong?

- He (and Oro) figured out most of the secret on the Uchiha tablet.
- He took Jugo, Suigetsu, Karin, Oro's, sound ninjas, and Kimimaro powers/DNA.

aaaand the list goes on..

He's a smart dog no doubt.

So let’s throw in some dot points.

• The light is entrance into the genjustu
• Kabuto has the ability to block harmful light.
• Kabuto has sage mode, which is one of few ways to fight Jubi Jin's.
• We haven't seen fudge all of dragon sage mode's capabilities.
• We haven't seen a panel of Kabuto being caught in the genjustu.
• It would be sick to see Kabuto back in action (I'm no fan-boy either)

And who disappeared here?

With Kabuto's recent change of heart and given the way that most of the villains have tried to right there wrongs. I say that it’s a fair possibility that Kabuto might come join the party.

So there is definitely some questions to be asked.

man.. notice the blue circles around A and B's heads... A's head is unraveled and B's is still wraped up.

The last panel was Madara and Black Zetsu disappearing from existence the light is Kaguya showing up. The Dream Jutsu is stronger than Itachi jutsu. Sasuke was being cautious in His assessment of the situation sines He is hiding from the light He can't see outside to verify His assessment of the situation. Kabuto dose not have the SO6P powers that Naruto and Sasuke have.

I'm holding out for the same thing but it's good to someone finally put it so well.

You also have to imagine the symmetry in the final team by having Team 7, Edo Hokage and Obito/Kabuto as the final few.

I feel thats because as much as this would be totally viable under normal circumstances, Kishi is just so off the rails lately, so i'm not actually expecting it to happen. It's hard to believe Kabuto would be just brought back to revive Sasuke but hey I would expect that from Kishi at this point too.

Yes but clearly somebody escaped it.

The only likelihood is that Kishi a.) doesn't care & brought him back for no reason b.) is holding back for a surprise reveal

(there WILL be a surprise reveal other than Obito, its just a matter of who)

No. No one is capable of escaping IT unless you have a Susano'o. And if someone escaped it then wait for some panels showing the mystery guy. Until then, no one's escaped IT.

Because they don't have specific means to defend against it?

Hell until a couple weeks ago we were all certain being a Jinchuuriki would make you immune too. We don't know the rules yet and considering how spontaneous and insane Kishi and his other writers have been lately nothing is set in stone.

That's it man, kishi is unpredictable and given the cards he's been pulling out it wouldn't surprise me that kabuto might return
