Kabuto's eyesight better?

Since Kabuto absorbed Orochimaru, doesn't his eyesight get better?

Why he is still wearing glasses even though he has a snake tail and scaly skin?

Is Kabuto long or short sighted?

He looks so weird with glasses on when after he became a snake. - But I guess its one feature that Kishi uses to distinguish Kabuto from the body he stole from.
