[Theory] Kabuto's Creation: Fake Rinnegan

Kabuto wouldn't have stated that he created Edo Madara's powers so casually unless he actually done some original work on the body.

Madara was revived at his prime; his prime occurred at a point in time where the Rinnegan simply wasn't there. Also, that "Rinnegan" strangely cannot access much of the Rinnegan techs that it should be able to, despite being used by what should have been it's original owner. Moreover, the Bijuu called Edo Madara's Rinnegan fake.

All of this leads me to conclude that Kabuto created a fake rinnegan as a modification of Edo Madara.

Perhaps he did this with his vast knowledge of biological science, gene manipulation, all along with his mastery of Edo Tensei.

It could be, so he did that right after orochi's death and before using edo tensei madara? if so then that was not enough time to pull such a thing. Maybe it was just him using both dna of senju and uchiha and letting the rest to a hypothesis.

Kabuto didn't actually create the eyes, it was the product of Edo Tensei. That's why it disappeared when Rinne Tensei cancelled Edo Tensei. Remember, Kabuto said Edo Tensei brought Madara back past his prime.

He modified his body to be at the age of 20-30ish. But he didn't merge that body with traits from Madara's elderly state, ie Rinnegan.

Kabuto instead have Madara be revived at the age of 20-30 and then implanted fake "Rinnegan". Or grew them inside the Edo body as part of a scientific experiment, doesn't matter.

The biggest clue as to why that Edo Rinnegan is fake is that it lack much of the Rinnegan tech's that Nagato was able to use. Please don't bring up Obito as a counter, Obito was not the original user.

I've discussed this topic before on the forums and I can safely say that Kabuto did not create the edo Rinnegan himself.

First of all, he was surprised when Madara used it at all. Yes he hypothesized that it was possible, but did not know. So that means that Madara was not revived with it active nor did Kabuto manufacture one for him.

Here is the simple nature of Madara's resurrection:

1. He is revived old because that is how he died.
2. He is revived without the Rinnegan active, but has access to it because he unlocked it before he died.
3. He has access to every level of the doujutsu from basic sharingan to Rinnegan because the jutsu itself allows for all jutsu to be utilized that the ninja had duing his or her life. So despite dying without the Rinnegan, he got access to the doujutu because the edo allows it.
4. Kabuto modified his old body by adding a significant amount of senju DNA, the Hashi face, thus reversing his aging.

He unlocked the rinnegan before than, otherwise Nagato pain wouldn't exist

But Edo Tensei itself simply can't create new tech's. If that were the case, Kabuto would have had all sorts of techs added on the edo bodies. Imagine if Deidara had Rinnegan, haha.

I think he did some experimentation that allowed him to create those fake Rinnegan.

Edo tensei brings the dead individual back with all there former powers.

Example: Itachi was brought back with MS, but Sasuke has his eyes.

There for Edo itachi's eyes are fake.

He was saying "fake" by edo, you can't summon gedo if you are not alive. They didn't know he was alive, untill the 4tail? told them he is alive and with a rinnegan.

The only problem with your post is the fact that Madara told Kabuto.... "Don't misunderstand. You did not! Create this power!" So in other words, Madara was brought back with all of his powers he attained in life, with the only possible modification being something with his youth returning, but that's about it, basically Kabuto gave madara what he already had, so his "modifications" are pretty much null and void.

No, Kabuto didn't even know Edo Madara would have Rinnegan. He theorized he would, due to him adding Hashirama's DNA to his body. Kabuto didn't create the rinnegan, he created a situation in which Madara would awaken it.

The Bijuu called it fake because Edo Madara's entire body was a fake. Edo's aren't really the people who's souls are attached.
