kabuto with edo is second only to SO6P,without edo,he is top 6-8 easily,if he wanted to kill sasuke,he would have ended the match on his first move,or summoned manda 2 and both of them rape the uchiha bros.

People to stop saying crap abt kabuto loosing all his power,the only thing he lost is oro's snake techs,he still has his sage mode,as well as taka+sound 5 powers,as well as edo tensel. All he needs is simply to redo it,as long as the ones he is ressurecting arent in the death god,he can re instate them back into his edo army over and over again easily,just by doing the ritual.
Sm kabuto with intent to kill>edo itachi+ems sasuke.

Yes Fire jutsus will be countered.

Yes most genjutsus won't work on him, not even Tsukyomi (a top tier one) works. He's under an really haxed one, haxed like izanagi, that you even have to sacrifice 1 eye for it, and that we didn't even know existed until then.

Yes, Taijutsu is a no no VS a SM, specially one that can liquify and shit, it will be useless. Besides, Sm increases speed/strength/durability/senses, so he has the advantage anyway.

Yes, he can render Susanoo almost useless with his sound tech, bot Itachi and Sasuke were having trouble maintaining it.

If he used Edos he would have won easy at that time.
But 1 on 1 he's not that hard to beat for Itachi or Sasuke IMO, since amaterasu will most likely finish him off. They just didn't use it because they were trying to capture him and not kill. But same could be said about him I guess, because he was trying to capture Sasuke and trying to change tag on Itachi.

I thought it was obvious that Kabuto > Sasuke & Itachi... The only way they can win is if they fight together and Itachi is an Edo. Most Genjutsu? Useless. Susano'o? Useless. Amaterasu? Useless. (He can dodge Susano'o Arrow, he can dodge Amaterasu. His heavily increased perception helps too.) White Rage or Chains of Fantasia and it's over.
