Kabuto?

Hey guys, I apologize in advanced if this thread has been made, but while I was rereading a couple of the past chapters I noticed when Orochimaru absorbed his chakra from Kabuto, his appearance went back to normal.

But when Kabuto made his comeback after escaping Izanami to heal Sasuke, he's shown with Orochimaru's chakra.

So do you guys think this is just a manga mistake, or what? Because it would make sense for Kabuto to come back to the battlefield as his old self, as he used to be a medic. Thoughts?

But when Orochimaru absorbed his chakra Kabuto was in sage mode. So it looked like Oro stole his Sage Mode.

nope.. i remember in early shippuden kabuto said his appearance looked like that because orochimaru was trying to take over his body not because of the sage mode

Oro just deactivated the sage mode from Kabuto and Oro took Oro's own chakra back.
These two things are seperate actions.
Sage mode being deactivated is the biggest reason why his looks changed to the normal Kabuto look.
Oro didnt take sage mode away, Oro only took Oro's own chakra and deactavted the sage mode.
Kabuto could reactivate sagemode once he got out Izanami.

I believe Kabuto can go sage mode without Oro's chakra.
He has Juugo's and Karins(Uzumak) blood after all.
Oro's body was never fit for sage mode anyway.

In sage mode Kabuto might look like Oro a bit, due to it being a snake sage mode and Oro being all snake like, so obivous these 2 snake themes will look alike. In the past Kabuto looked like a snake outside of sage mode, due to Oro's cells.
Nowadays outside of sage mode, Kabuto probably doesnt look that much like Oro anymore (if he doesnt have his cells/chakra anymore). Besides, there might be some leftover remains from Oro's chakra in Kabuto, as Oro mentioned and wondered himself.

Orochimaru just took the nartural Energy of him to enter SM himself. Kabuto gathered natural energy again afterwards probably. after all you can't someones ability to gather natural energy. so you can't "take away" the sage mode of somebody

he wasn't. those purple lines came as he started to fight Itachi and Sasuke. so he entered it.

His appearance before sage mode, was that of a snake due to Oro's chakra.
HOWEVER, one doesnt exclude the other.

When Kabuto went snake sage mode, the sage mode AND Oro's chakra, could be the reason for the snake look.

Nowadays, with Oro having his chakra taken back, Kabuto going snake sage mode, could make him look like a snake too.
The reason this time would be the sage mode itself. It is not weird that this could be the case.
Jiraiya looked like a frog after all.
This time the reason is the sage mode and not Oro's chakra.
