Awesome response. I personally think the beach division kinda destroys Chikara Kabuto. I know Deidara can be a great distraction but imagine the scale of the battlefield, so many people and some REALLY strong ninja in there too like Darui, Kitsuchi and Chouza who (if smart) will all be going for the edo tensei caster. Deidara will be fantastic in giving Kabuto the aerial advantage but the 3 I mentioned above (and tenten) can all strike at things in the air. Hidan and Hayate are immortal but way too small range and will both get sealed.
I'd be interested in hearing about the Jiraiya/Akatsuki pair matchups though.
I was imagining Hidan to be the frontline fighter/tank, he would basically distract and pressure them while Deidara bombs them with the big techs from behind. I don't really see Hayate playing a big role here except perhaps keep Darui busy.
Kabuto would also be able to either sneak attack on the rest or be a team player, but I do think Deidara is his trump card here, I think they'd be able to blow that division to bits. Tenten also can't bear using those weapons too much and I don't see how the others have enough means to take out Kabuto and Deidara in the air, as we've seen they're quite a good combo.
Anyway, depending on the battlefield of course, I think Jiraiya and Gamaken could really give Kabuto a run for his money, since Hidan is almost a non factor here. And Ken's agility allows Jiraiya to hit SM.
Once he's in SM, he'd be able to overpower Kabuto pretty well, whether he'd make it up to him in the sky I'm not sure.
And I was kinda imagining Kakuzu just blasts the shiiet out of everyone ._.
