Kabuto wouldve have been Orochimaru's best vessel

I dont know if Oro was blind or just needed the assistance because of his arms but Kabuto wouldve been the best vessel for him, he already had the ability to use Dead Soul jutsu, basically defeated Tsunade in combat and while also being compared to Kakashi and in pt 2 he shown rhat he has a very unique body also since he was able to intergrate the Sound 4, Kimimaro, Taka and Orochimaru himself without any drawbacks or being a transmigrant of Ashura and Indra

So aside from his Sharingan obsession why didn't Orochimaru choose him as his next vessel?

because oro knew kabuto would try to assimilate oro if oro tried to take his body

Kabuto was weak and had no real talent , there was a whole arc about that which is why he needs orochimaru cells.

And he didn't beat tsunade ,
He exploited her weakness that's to orochimaru
And tsunade was equally restricted in that fight as oro and jiri
She was about to kill Kabuto but he cut himself and she had plot hemopobia

And zetsu was the better body.
Orochimaru only took back his own essence from Kabuto
