I called it and the anime confirmed that Kaguya used muki tensei to control the ice.
That's why tsb were weak, because the ice is infused with nature energy.

And nice catch, amaterasu was a weak point of Kabuto's muki tensei, amaterasu may be strong against nature energy.

No shit heat breaks ice I'm not ****ing stupid. But there's no way it broke the ice THAT fast. Last time I checked it could barely burn through a samurai's clothing. And now all of a sudden, in this super cold climate it can instantly destroy a huge iceberg??

Amaterasu's strength is just so inconsistent

Alright my bad let me clarify. Yes Amaterasu is hot enough to melt ice. Additionally, Sasuke doujutsu is powered up by six paths. Also, Sasuke first uses Amaterasu, but its KAGUTSUCHI which SLICES the ice.

Kagutsuchi is the ability to manipulte the shape of amaterasu. All Sasuke did was slice and melt the ice at different places all at once. I hope you understand now.

I do understand your point though I'm not completely ruling it out becuz you make a valid point.
