Orochimaru deserves praise for his accomplishments and still having such huge relevance to the plot after so long. Even now, a recent quote from Sasuke was "There are things that only Orochimaru can do". However I also don't think it's fair to credit him with his studies if we're talking about a 1 on 1 battle like this.

Overall, Kabuto achieved the state that Orochimaru was craving for: Sage Mode. But even if you discard that thought for just a minute, think about Kabuto has become after Orochimaru's "death". Not only did he gain a good portion of Orochimaru's chakra and power himself, but he also took it a step further by implanting the DNA of 3/4 of Taka's members along with the Sound 5. If you want to count Manda 2, there's another bonus. I actually feel that Kabuto tends to get underrated just because Itachi said that they couldn't kill him. I don't see why that would discard most of his extremely versatile move set but yeah.

I'm assuming this is Kabutomaru (not the one that just had some power absorbed) too...

If Kabuto gets his dsm back cuz he clearly doesn't have I now tht oro got his chakra back from him
Then oro should get fully healthy body and hands if that's the case oro takes it what can kabuto do sure he has sage mode but the sound 5 abilities were thought by oro himself (except sakon ukon kekke genkai ) so he wouldn't be suprised bout it the liquidfication would be prob but what does kabuto have tht puts oro down his slither mode is fast as well and oro can go hydra and nuke him with his snake version of TBB

Actually no where has it ever been said that the sword of kusanagi is poisonous. It's just able to pierce just about anything.
EDIT: Nevermind, i see, a comma was supposed to be there.
OT: I would like to say Orochimaru but at the moment he just doesn't have the feats.

I would typically agree but without edo tensi kabuto doesn't hav the feats to take out oro
Oro on other hand can nuke him with snake TBB
Also in tht true form he releases paralyzing poisen witch I Dnt see how kabuto would escape

Unless somebody proves some how kabuto can put oro down without edo tensi I'm going with oro yes he's my fav charecter Nd I'm fanboying but no actual feAts prove that kabuto can take him out also I'm. Gonna mention duribilty it's not like oro can't take a hit

I'd say oro. As seen with sasuke anybody with oros chakra absorbed runs the risk of him breaking free or even taking over said individual. Kabuto admitted himself that it was a battle for him to repress oros chakra inside him. These things are to be considered before the fight even starts. Oro has to many jutsu up his sleeve and he's smarter. I think people got swayed by kabuto in tha fight with the uchihas. He's not unbeatable. He just seemed that way in that situation. My opinion on it anyway

orochimaru was surpassed as was stated multiple times by kabuto. and no one would know oros full powers better than the guy healing his every wound and watching his battles.
kabuto has the ability to control anything dead. so he would take control over kusanagi sword and cut oro up with it. before orochimaru can body shed, kabuto moves in and bisects orochimaru. since oro would just rebuild himself, kabuto then puts him in demonic flute. oro is now paralysed and defenceless.
kabuto is faar faster, more effective in defence, doesnt lose stamina or SM, isnt affected by orochimaru genjutsu if he has it, great waterfall tech would wash back ten thousand snakes.
suigetsus ability makes most of orochimarus offence worthless.

Oro takes it. kabuto wouldn't have DSM without Oro

whats orochimaru's counter for the SM techniques?

why would he resort to true form when not changing bodies?

Cant oro just take his chakra back from kabuto like he did recently then fights over kabuto sucks

how does he do that while kabuto is moving about nimbly spamming high level attacks at him?

Oro has to many jutsu up his sleeve

and kabuto probably can perform all of them if he wanted. kabuto seems smarter to me and more effective in durability and stamina.
