I think kabuto wins. iirc he can go underground and use chakra scalp.

If he can manage to land a blow on Asuma while he is within hiens range, which is unlikely.

yeah, I was thinking he would use the pill enhancement to speed up his CQC feats like he did before.

I wouldn't underrate Asuma's reflexes..

*posts scan of Asuma dodgins kisame's strikes, who is pretty fast in cqc facing base Gai and Bee*

I'd go with Asuma here. Good matchup anyways. If Asuma goes for CQC first, he wins. If he goes for the distance and uses that smoke screen, he digs his own grave, since as you said, Kabuto goes underground. But i don't see why Asuma would need to do that.
