O.K., so, it stands to reason (I figure) that sage mode would increase Kabuto's regular healing ability, to either to the extent of FULLY reviving dead corpses (very good cell regeneration eventually), and if not... well... How about if his healing ability just in increased in time needed to heal a target...
We won't know until it's explained, however, we can make educated guesses in the mean time...
Second part: HOW did Kabuto learn sage mode if he DOESN'T have Izumaki-esque chakra reserves... This makes me believe it's an imperfect mode; much like J-man's version of sage mode... Hard to say about that one. Unless it's revealed that Kabuto is a Izumaki (doubtful as it is) AND (or) someone special. I mean he WAS left un-killed and orphaned for some unexplained reason... Supposed reason... Hm.
I suppose we could give the benefit of the doubt that each sage mode differs from another... That sounds reasonable, since it's a rare thing... What are your opinions, hidden base members...
