If he is safe because of his eye, then why did he say that naruto and sakura are unaffected because his susanoo protects them, and told them not to go outside? not trying to argue

the susanoo is strengthen by the eye, the susanoo is a dojutsu technique after all,

if the eye negates the light, so will the susanoo

That's still debatable. It's all speculation


Shadows imply that there is light present. Light creates shadow, meaning wherever there are shadows, there is light.

But with no light there is only darkness.

There is no light coming through Kabuto's lids.

Same concept applies to blind people, which also could not have been affected.

a sleeping mother and child was effected, it effects whether you're awake or asleep which involves closing of the eyes

Light can still go through the protection of your eyes if you're not blind, do me a favor (CLOSE YOUR EYES AND TAKE A TORCH OR A FLASH LIGHT AND FACE IT TOWARDS YOUR EYES, you'll notice that the light is still going through even if your have your eyes shut.) Just like when the sun rises in the morning even when your sleeping the light goes through the skin protection of your eyes, which is completely different to what Kabuto has done.

Therefore Kabuto can be immune to this genjutsu unless kishi doesn't want it. It's common sense. That mother and child are sleeping but they are not blind, light can easiliy penetrate their eyes skin protection.

You cannot compare a person who is not blind and just sleeping, to a guy who has shut his vision meaning he's blind in terms of vision but he uses heat vision to see, Kabuto said that light can't go through his eyes during the fight against itachi and sasuke meaning his eyes do not recieve light rays.

I am not sure if Bee wont be affected of IT but who knows his sunglasses would be such a big help? Nothing is impossible with Kishi xD however for sure Gaara perhaps wouldn't be affected by IT. Just like Sasuke, if he is fast enough he can use his sand to prevent the light. I mean, he can cover himself using the sand
