Kabuto Questions

So after Oro absorbed his dna/chakra back from Kabuto, kabuto looked like his normal self again. But to me this leaves a bunch of questions up in the air? Please answer them if you can! Feel free to discuss them to!

1. After the removal of Oro's DNA/Chakra, does Kabuto still have the Sound 5's powers?

2. If he doesnt have the Sounds 5's powers, then doesnt that mean that orochimaru now has them?

3. Last but not least, Can Kabuto still go into Sage Mode without Oro's DNA?

my think that he still can use the sound 5s power and can go into sage mode. But thats a pure guess. Id love some facts to prove/disprove me.

1. He still has their DNA, but whether he can utilize their powers without Oro's power is questionable.
2. No, Kabuto still has their DNA. Oro didn't absorb it.
3. We don't know, but it's widely believed that he cannot.

It was Oro's chakra that he used to go train for the dragon sage mode. Now that he has it he doesn't need Oro's chakra. That is why it wasn't a big deal when he took his chakra back. And he probably still can use them. Since it has not been showed any connection between Oro'chakra and the hidden 5.

When Orochimaru absorbed it, he referred to his chakra as Senjutsu chakra. I'm still not completely sure of the ramifications here, but that could be a reason why Kabuto shouldn't be able to go sage mode anymore.

Best guess-wise, I think that Kabuto no longer has the sound 5's powers. The way it was represented in the manga, and the way Kishi usually writes, it would seem that Kabuto lost all powers he gained through experimenting on himself. It could have something to do with Oro's DNA being a sort of catalyst for activating those powers, but I digress.

If Orochimaru only absorbed his own DNA I wouldn't see why Kabuto would lose the Sound 5's powers.

But its not like naruto has jirayas DNA in him and he can use sage mode, maybe oros dna helped out but just becuase he doesnt look like a snake shouldnt mean he cant go into snake sage mode? or at least thats what i think

answer 1. Because Kabuto had all that DNA mixed together as seen here

Instead of Orochimaru just taking out his portion of DNA I would say he took out all the mixed DNA in a way to purify Kabuto so he may live a normal life after this war.

1.Kabuto has the sound fives DNA, and Taka's DNA still orochimaru only took back HIS DNA.. those saying that the sound fives abilities were because of Orochimaru's cursed seal are mistaken as their techniques were theirs and only theirs, cursed seal only enhanced their abilties..

2.Orochimaru only has his DNA back nothing else..

3.Since Kabuto has Juugo's DNA he is able to absorb Natural Energy constantly therefore he is able to go into DSM easily, all while having huge chakra reserves to help seeing as he has his own chakra along with seven others..

I thought sage mode was just the ability to utilize the energy in nature as chakra, I dont see why oro's dna (or lack there of) would have any impact on his sage abilities

I don't think he chakra is Ominous enough without Orochimaru's chakra to go SM, but he still has sound 5 powers and all those Taka abilities as well.

Kishi is probably going to tie all of it together and use it to help Kabuto regain his identity and escape Izanami or something - like without all the DNA and stuff he was in the right state of mind.
