Chakra is always shown around the person... Also if kabuto wasnt in sage mode yet Karin wouldve sensed the change or she wouldve sensed him gathering chakra Lol

Refer to my earlier post. Also acting like it's not a big deal doesn't make it untrue. Kishi did this purposely so we would think it's not kabuto. Imagine there was a mystery guy who was blue but it turned out he was orange with no explanation, plot hole right? Lol

personally i tend not to look at anyones protrusions and call it a plot-hole......maybe a plot-erection but nonetheless i avoid anything that has protrusions except my piece.....now I'm all interested in plot-vaginas
