I agree with you, but I just had to point something out, he was only 3 years old, or maybe a little bit younger, during the recent flashback of him getting taken in with the women who gave him her glasses. Definitely not 8-10, Konoha took him in when he was 3, so he was either 3 years old when the woman found him, or even younger.
