Kabuto is overrated

Any time i see a list with top ninjas, Kabuto is always in or close to the top 3. Now I know that he has his Edo Tensei and can revive extremely strong people back from the dead and has his amazing regeneration powers. But on the other hand, Itachi pretty much beat Kabuto single-handedly with Izanami. And Madara broke the Edo Tensei contract! He could have easily turned on Kabuto and killed him since he's immortal. Can you honestly put Kabuto above people like Hashirama and Madara? Even Naruto, if they were 1 on 1 it would definitely be close. In my opinion I just think that Kabuto is way overrated and should be in the lower part of a top 10 list.

For Itachi to beat him it took some major plot work
1. Itachi had to randomly break Edo
2. Itachi had to encounter Sasuke, otherwise Kabuto would have killed him fairly easily (he died like 3 times)
3. Itachi had to pull a forbidden jutsu out of his ass
4. Kabuto had to completely change personality from his cool and calculated persona to an over confident type so izanami would work
5. Kabuto couldn't summon any edo's otherwise they would continue to fight Itachi/ Sasuke even after he was put in izanami

There was sooo many things put against Kabuto and even then Edo Itachi and EMS Sasuke only just won that fight. Kabuto was overpowering them the whole time.

He is there for a reason.Go google kabuto and you'll see why.Its not too much of a problem though once he gets out of izanami its not like he will be a threat.His life is in his own hands at this point.If he wants to get out he will have to change his attitude and way of life.Once he gets out there is no doubt in my mind that he will be a "good guy"

His great medical ninjustsu, abillity to absorb any DNA for techniques and mass Edo tensei give him a lot of power I wouldn't count him as overated or out of the picture yet.

Even though we all read the same manga many somehow overlook that kabuto's set up was the embodiment of everything a person needed to take down the sharingan.Izanami was a fine example of a really luke warm plot device.

Yeah, he steals Orochimaru's powers and then declares himself as surpassing him. That's like saying Kakashi would surpass Naruto if he stole Kurama and tweaked the power a bit to max it out. Now that Orochimaru has taken his rightful power back, he shouldn't be able to do a great deal. Like, the Sound Five abilites, they surely use a good deal of chakra and Kabuto is only a 3 in the databooks for stamina. Plus, Kabuto's raw power isn't strong, so I'm not even sure he'll be able to initiate Sage Mode properly anymore.
