Think about if itachi or sasuke kills kabuto and someone like tobi brings him back endo tensi he would be more powerful then madara uchiha in my opinion. Kabuto could have beat the crap out of tobi and took sauke and won the war without tobi, I understan for the sake of the story kabuto just didn't beat the crap out of tobi and capture blind sasuke. kabuto is the second strongest character on naruto with naruto been first of course. it goes like this naruto, kabuto,edo tensei Madara Uchiha, First Hokage, tobi, Minato,Second Hokage,Danzō Shimura,Sasuke Uchiha, itachi,pain, four raikage,Second Mizukage, Third Raikage,SecondTsuchikage,Third Tsuchikage, Fifth Hokage,Fifth Kazekage,Fourth Kazekage - yes in this order and i told people that kabuto will be the last Villain

He doesn't need to become an edo he more or less has an infinite supply of nature chakra so he can stay in SM as longas he wants.

You do understand how SM works right?

It is like normal chakra except instead of just adding spiritual and physical energy you also add nature energy.

SM= 1/3 spiritual energy + 1/3rd physical energy + 1/3rd nature energy

So if you run out of either of the first two you can't stay in sage mode anymore. So SM allows you to use 1/3rd less chakra than you normally would, but as soon as you run out of normal chakra you run out of SM as well. There is no such thing as infinite SM, unless someone gets the jubi and also has SM.
