As we all know Kabuto is in Itachi's genjutsu which sets a person destiny, and the only way for kabuto to get out of it is to accept his destiny.

what i want to know is, say if someone gets put into it and then they accept their destiny and then get released from the genjutsu if they go back to their old ways would their mind go back into a loop or would you remain free from the genjutsu?

its about truly accepting your fate, not like "oh i accept this for the moment" - accept it as it is and deal with it, no going back
if you truly accept something you shouldnt feel the desire to go back, right?

No, because they would have changed their heart and intentions

That's how the technique dissolves.

You can't simply say: 'okay, Ill be a good boy bow''

hmmm yeah true, but what if the person in the genjutsu truly did accept it, and then was convinced by another person to do evil again, kinda like how tobi made sasuke wanna destroy the leaf.

Also if a person did accept their destiny and became good, what if someone put them under a controlling genjutsu, would that genjutsu cancel then izanami activate again :p

Haha so many different spellings of Izanami on NB, but yeah IMO if you go back to your old ways at all it would still be not accepting the destiny chosen for you, so even after itachi fades away, disobeying the destiny he chose for him would result in kabuto being trapped in a loop again, or maybe not.

This is the most vaguely described, nonsensical dojutsu i have ever heard of lol but it's Itachi afterall, so as long as HE at least understands how it works ill take his word for it...

I believe this is a chance provided by Itachi to make Kabuto returned, actually Kabuto was not a totally bad guy in my opinion, and Itachi also believe in that, so he never killed Kabuto!

After going through all that he has, becoming a perfect sage, taking control of some of the strongest people in history, going as far as creating a whole new Madara, much better than he was in his prime and ultimately becoming a major power player in the 4th great ninja war, I think he is going to find that accepting his fate is next to impossible IMO.
