Summonings, Edo's are all part of the users Jutsu. Nothing more than Mere tools to be used as the user see's fit. I personally count them but oh well.

Stop..Shadowclones divide yourself...the sum of all parts still equal a whole....when naruto summons he does not solo

Kabuto uses edo and kills someone, he won the fight and defeated the opposition...is it a solo....no...solo implies you dont need outside help from summons

Soul's don't matter, Edo Puppets are part of a Jutsu and are bound to the users will, The same way Sasori binds his puppets to do his will by chakra threads. If kabuto so wished he could rob them of their souls and turn them into mindless killing machines.

Also summonings have souls, I guess you do not count them aswell?.

Sasori's puppets get their power because of Sasori while edos get theirs from years of training or KKG while alive and I don't think anybody would count a summonings kill for the summoner unless the summoner did 99% of the work
