So I'm quite sure Itachi can be beaten.Now you Itachi fans prepare for it!

But you think that Kabuto is that foolish?You think he will come unprepared?
Sage Mode + Edo Tensei on his side like Sasori and Hanzo release their toxic and Kabuto uses jutsu to goes underground and let them fight or maybe he revives Nagato?What will happen then,he absorbs Amaterasu,the truth is that Edo Tensei was part of Kabuto's arsenal.But plot shield did his job in that fight.

Itachi can read Kabuto's intentions and counter his actions instantly .. he did.

doesn't need Izanami to kill or beat Kabuto DMS.. He just used it plus he wanted to help Kabuto as well.

Considering this isn't a real manga feat, I would not base an argument on it.



OT: Kabuto during the war was easily stronger than Itachi. In fact, through the course of their fight, Itachi was "Killed" on multiple occasions, and would have had his mind re-written if Sasuke wasn't present.

Furthermore, Kabuto wasn't even using Edo Tensei. Adding an army easily increases his already good odds of victory.

Well really Itachi had no option but to hold back considering Kabuto's power created that very situation.



In addition, he has Jirobo's DNA (Selling is off) which means he can Chakra absorbing earth mound. Amplifying the ability with Senjutsu... He can theoretically create caves to fight in :l.

Also, living Itachi would have died multiple times had he tried to perform Izanami considering how Edo Itachi faired. To further implement the trouble, Edo Itachi was defeated had Sasuke not moved in to save his elder brother. So living Itachi has an even less chance of winning seeing ho he has poor worse stamina and mortality. He'd have died before Izanami could activate.

It really boils down to who you prefer. Kabuto has far superior strength, equal speed, quite possibly superior reaction speed and some incapacitating Jutsu such as Hakugeki and Mugen Onsa.
Itachi is less arrogant, therefore more battle-smart + has some pretty impressive Genjutsu, not to mention Totauka and Yata.
Edo Itachi and DSM Kabuto are pretty much equals as far as I'm concerned.
