Yamato, obito and danzo all had hashi cells and could barely make any decent mokuton - with yamato being the best as he was genetically modified to be hashi V2.
I disagree with Obito being "decent". He can indeed produce large scales like he did in "Hell" chapter. It just not his prefer style to use. But he has every right to brag about using it since
1. He can use Hashirama cells to suppress the Juubi as equivalent to Madara[

Obito and Kabuto just lack knowledge on actual Mokuton jutsus that Hashirama personally uses, which Madara knowledge gave him the advantage
Ontop of that, mokuton takes a large amount of chakra.
That is true, and Kabuto has large amount of chakra. And since he has the ability to control and passively absorb natural energy at will, he is basically a living Edo.
What you're saying is unlikely. Even if it were, it would still be unlikely on a grand scale seeing as black zetsu is the best zetsu-mokuton-user we've seen, and it wasn't even that good... Mokuton on a small scale isn't all that useless against relevant shinobi.
I don't think so. His modification with Hashirama's cells on Madara is living proof of what he can apply to himself. Kabuto was been controlling Madara's Mokuton use. Example [
