Did u forgot to read the part where same Minato clearly said that he shouldn't be Madara as he is supposed to be dead? What was the point of using it when it is nothing more than waste of time? It takes more time for Minato to enter SM as stated by Minato and he can't even maintain it for much time? seriously what was the point of using it? Are u saying that he should use it to show us that he has Sage Mode even if it is not necessary? Plz tell me how Minato using SM would have changed anything during that battle.
