Kabumaru's biggest mistake = Bringing back Itachi Uchiha!? Yes or No?

Kabumaru thinks he is smart :flaw:, using Edo to have strong shinobi fight his battle but Itachi <3 is freed and because of that Kabumaru lost his strongest Shinobi's excluding Madara, Nagato and Itachi <3.

Itachi plans to ambush Kabumaru with Genjutsu and end Edo, was bringing back Itachi Uchiha <3 back Kabumaru's greatest mistake!?

He had no way of knowing that if itachi fought naruto he'd break free, his biggest mistake IMO was joining madara's cause in the first place It would have been much easier to take Sasuke from the battle field had he either joined the joint ninja forces or just stayed in the background waited till naruto and Sasuke wore themselves out and then took him while tobi was distracted with the much more formidable joint ninja force.

Well Kabuto is known for being a sneaky bastard I don't think he'll be beaten that easily plus I'm sure he anticipates Itachi coming since he lost control.

Possibly. Who says he'll (Itachi) succeed? Who says he'd (Kabumaru) reveal every secret of the tech? Who says he can't easily kill Itachi somehow? I doubt he told Tobi ALL of the secrets of the tech. He also told Tobi he wouldn't reveal the real Madara but looked what happened!

Yup I only see 2 scenarios:

1) Itachi pulls the obvious by ending Edo and therefore being considered a hero

2) Kabuto expected everything and either seals or releases Itachi

I'm honestly hoping for #2. Itachi already played his part in the story.

If he could release just Itachi, he would have done it as soon as he lost control. If he releases Itachi, he releases them all.

That's the thing. We still don't know Kabuto's true intentions. For all we know he could be pulling an "Itachi" and in the end will try to take down Tobi himself. But as we see for now he's an evil dude so the people I truly see stopping him, Tobi, and Madara is Naruto and Sasuke as a team. I guess we'll have to wait and see what Kishi throws at us
