Idk it's confusing. When Mifune was told by Ao that he was under KA he broke out of it instantly, but when Itachi was placed under it and knew he was under it nothing changed.

That theory about knowing you are in ka therefore you go against the point of the technique was made by me time ago, however as someone noted danzo couldve cancelled the effects of the technique after he was found out by AO, therefore mifune came back to his senses.

ka is overrated while activated you cant attack and you need to keep some form of eye contract with its 10 year cooldown it means that if you where in a battle used it and got attack from something else it becomes usless

The point is that you are not aware that you are being controlled...

If you are alone and dont have any intel on shisui.


Mifune had no problem acting normal, the moment he was told that a genjutsu was cast.
So in 1 on 1, without intel on shisui, you are fukked, outside of this, there can be actually good chances to break it.
