Why Koto > Tsukoyomi: though Tsukoyomi is very powerful, it is only designed for the destruction of a single individual. Koto's versatility can be used for a wide array of reasons including destruction of oneself, of others, change the heart of a person or even erase the contractual effects of another jutsu.
Why Koto > Kurenais Genjutsu: Kurenais Gen seems to be based on the five senses, making the user think something is happening to them that's not. It is there where Kurenai can deliver a final blow to her opponent. However, the user is immediately aware they are under a genjutsu technique. During Koto, not only are you unaware but you're not even aware that any things change as nothing out of the ordinary is happening unless someone tells you. During ALL GENJUTSU EXCEPT KOTO, SOMETHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY OCCURS.
Why Koto > Ma & Pa Sound Genjutsu: besides their long prep time ma and pa's frog gen relies on sound to trap the enemy. However once trapped, death is a sure thing. Koto needs no prep time and you won't even have to kill your opponent as you can simply program them to never use ninjutsu again and go be a chef. They'll make a great chef too.
Why Koto > Infinite Tsukoyomi: IT doesn't work on Edos. Koto does.
