Appearance


Raised in the capital city of the Freehold of Hanguri, Kōtetsu has a regal yet mysterious aura that both captivates and bewitches those he meets. Standing at almost six feet, he is a tall, attractive young man with canine-like features befitting one of the Inuzuka clan, whose crimson fang tattoos he bears proudly on his cheeks. Coupled with his wild unkempt black hair and fang-like teeth, his crimson eyes give off a sharp and intense gaze. His nails, akin to razors in sharpness, protrude slightly beyond his fingertips, and the three pure whitetails with crimson markings that protrude from his lower back only enhance his charm.

With the advent of scientific ninja tools, and especially the one known as Requip, his attire changes to fit whatever environment he finds himself in, the only constant being his black and white, birdlike domino mask he wears over his face. Outside of battle though, he can most often be seen wearing a masterfully woven black ankle-length tailcoat that splits perfectly into three separate segments starting from just below his waist. Beneath this, he wears a sleeveless gray high-necked waistcoat with gold accents and black pants. The tailcoat features a holster on it's back that holds his Wolf Knight Greatsword, Caladbolg, in place vertically across his back. When in battle he typically dons a somewhat autonomous suite of armor created through his unique ability to manifest steel constructs from his body, providing him with an enhanced defense that works well in conjunction with his reckless style of close-range combat.


Personality


Groomed to potentially become a Daijō-daijin before the fall of Chungsu, Kōtetsu's aggressive personality and enigmatic nature that was so frowned upon in the capital of the Freehold was not just welcomed but encouraged and made him revered by his kin in the deep forest of Zhouhua. As the leader of his clan, he believes in strength above all else. The strength to protect his people. The strength to protect their way of life. The strength to do whatever it takes to ensure their survival. The corruption and numerous betrayals and incompetent leadership he witnessed in his youth altered his outlook on humanity. Having realized the extent others would go to in order to further themselves, his trust of those not of his clan is in short supply. He is fundamentally defined by his appreciation of nature, going as far as to kill anyone who invades Zhouhua's borders. Though rarely ever shown towards humans, he is highly capable of compassion, a quality he only exhibits towards his Ninken and other animals of the forest.

He possesses an undeniable presence, anyone he meets ends up viewing him with either goodwill or animosity, with the former growing into trust or fellowship, and the latter into awe or even dread. Those who choose to follow him typically are overcome with emotions upon their first encounter with him, either entranced by the thought of splendor and grandeur at his side or reeled in by his strong sense of ambition and conviction. Conversely, he is capable of perceiving even the most subtle ill will a person harbors towards him, even upon first meeting them, and acts accordingly from that point on. An understanding of such human emotions and motivations, and an ambition paying heed to nothing but the ascension of his people, have enabled him to stand above others.​

Earth Release Specialty (Primary)


In addition to his prowess with his clan's unique combination and rotation techniques, Kōtetsu is a master of Earth Release. He is capable of using the element with a single handseal, a feat which stems from his ability to make use of the advanced element of Steel, which he inherited from his mother, to produce constructs made from the material.


Advanced Tracking Specialty (Secondary)


Though he already possessed higher than normal tracking capabilities due to his already heightened senses of smell and hearing, Kōtetsu was never satisfied. As a close-ranged fighter who regularly fought with people faster than him, he dedicated a part of his training while living in Chungsu solely to increasing his tracking speed. The training he underwent resulted in a 2x increase in his tracking ability.


Apex Speed Specialty (Unique)


Believing that increasing the speed of his body would increase his overall fighting capabilities, especially his physical attacks, Kōtetsu underwent rigorous physical conditioning throughout his youth with the intention of increasing his base speed as much as possible. Slowly building up over time, his base speed has seen an increase of four (4) additional levels, making him faster than other shinobi of his rank.


Lifeline Chakra Specialty (Extra)


Possessing the dual abilities of the Inuzuka clan from his father and steel release from his mother, Kōtetsu's energy reserves and stamina had to be constantly trained and expanded in order for him to use his abilities to their full extent. This result of this training saw him utilize more techniques in combat without running out of chakra and has resulted in a higher chakra base than those of his rank (+25% / 400CP).


Way of the Divergent Specialty (CFS)


An ability ground in boldness and fearlessness in order to push the body to very limits, Way of the Divergent is a custom fighting style Kōtetsu learned during his time in Chungsu. As a practitioner of this style, he has lost the ability to naturally feel fear, which not only allows him to absorb more damage than the average shinobi but to also receive blows without faltering or interrupting his movements.​

Background Information


Born deep within Zhouhua’s forest region in the year 788, Kōtetsu’s cries echoed throughout the ancestral homeland of his people. His parents Sýr Inuzuka, the current head of the Inuzuka Clan, and Izuri Inuzuki, a warrior who originally hailed from the Badlands Of Earth, already feared for the future their child would have to face. You see, over 200 years before Kōtetsu’s birth the Inuzuka clan had split into two factions. The first faction consisted of the clan members who dwelled in Zhouhua, while the other faction had left the forest and found a place for themselves in The Freehold of Hanguri. This group rose in status until eventually, in 552 Sai Inuzuka was elected as the 29th Daijō-daijin.

Due to this precedent, the Hanguri faction began to gather gifted children in Chungsu. They educated them, trained them in various fields, and nurtured them into skilled leaders, whether it be in politics, business, or the military, all in the hope of one day producing another Daijō-daijin. Over the years it became a sort of tradition for the Inuzuka clan members to send their firstborn child to Chungsu, and now it was Kōtetsu’s turn to make the journey. Shortly after his third birthday, he was brought to the capital of The Freehold of Hanguri, where his affinity for steel release was discovered. It was also here that he met his lifelong friend and swordmaster, Keotsu.

Kōtetsu would spend the next thirteen years going through harsh training in various arts. From medical ninjutsu to kenjutsu, he mastered everything his instructors threw at him. He developed a habit of sneaking out and exploring Chungsu’s nightlife. He became notorious for doing this and eventually, his nightly strolls were known and anticipated by the merchants and scholars of the city. It was during one of these strolls that Kōtetsu came across a drunk man assaulting a woman. Naturally, he couldn’t sit still and watch. He approached the man and the two began to argue, but seeing no progress Kōtetsu physically repelled him, causing him to fall and hurt his head.

The scene they caused alerted some patrolling soldiers, but instead of being praised for his action, the Inuzuka was instead arrested and prisoned beneath the man’s mansion. As it turns out, the man he had injured turned out to be an influential and corrupt politician called Shido Masayoshi, who bribed the guard to apprehend Kōtetsu, lock him up in the mansion, and cover up any rumors or trace in regards to his disappearance. He was held by Shido for months, slowly being tortured and beaten. It eventually reached the point where the young Inuzuka stopped fighting back and lost hope of ever escaping from that hellish place.

Then one night the earth shook and the mansion walls crumbled, freeing his shackles from the ruined building. Kōtetsu crawled through the rubble until he reached the surface, and he would never forget what he saw the night. He didn’t know it at the time, but what he witnessed was the Kyūbi no Yōko as it razed the capital city. Everything was either on fire or destroyed by the large beast. Kōtetsu began to make his escape, but as he walked through what was left of Shido’s mansion, his ears picked up the sound of crying. He went to investigate, and after moving some pieces of rubble he came across three small wolf cubs, so young that their eyes had yet to open, curled up around a black sword.

Taking the cubs and sword with him the Inuzuka fled Hanguri and returned to the Land of Fire. With barely any provision, the journey to his birthplace was more difficult than he expected. After a month of traveling, Kōtetsu finally arrived in Zhouhua, and upon entering the deep forest he was met by a number of his clansmen. As they surrounded him, a lone woman approached him. Her eyes welled up with tears as she hugged Kōtetsu and whispered, “My name is Sýr, and I am your mother”.

Kōtetsu would spend the next few years amongst his clan, getting to know his family and training in the Inuzuka clan’s techniques. During this time he also went on several adventures throughout the Land of Fire and his mother’s homeland in the Badlands of Earth before eventually stepping into a leadership role for his people.​

Inuzuka Baseline: As a member of the Inuzuka Clan Kōtetsu not only has a passive +20 damage to Taijutsu involving his hands, but he also possesses greatly enhanced senses, especially his sense of smell and his sense of hearing. By concentrating chakra to his nose his sense of smell is amplified to an even greater extent, allowing him to detect, track, and monitor targets from up to one landmark away. He maintains a permanent fusion with Sirris, Solaire, and Sif through the use of Fenrir's Lesser Oblige, which serve to enhance his senses to the point where he can accurately gauge the strength of both people and techniques.

Description: This technique was designed to rectify the weaknesses of managing multiple bodies within Battle. Many Inuzuka found that their Ninkens became easy targets for area of effect Ninjutsu techniques, and often experienced problems with defending from widespread attacks without compromising their Ninkens health or position. As such this technique was developed as a fix for these flaws. This technique allows an Inuzuka to enter into a lasting fusion with their Ninken(s). While fused the Ninken will inhabit the users body and the user will gain the ability to use techniques that require 'Four Legged Beast' transformation as a perquisite and will also gain the senses of their Ninken. The Ninken(s) will be aware of the world through the users senses however their mind and chakra systems will remain separate. The Inuzuka however will still be capable of tapping into their Ninken's chakra supply, and will be capable of using it to bolster their own supply for future techniques. Lastly, fused Ninken can demerge from their host body at any point in time, and can also choose to re-emerge without cost. Merging and de-merging however is not instant, instead it simply functions as a Ninken or Inuzuka walking outside of the hosts body - and as such is far inferior to the merging abilities of Souma No Kou. One added benefit is that a host can have appendages such as tails or wolf ears that can prove useful in combat, but are largely cosmetic, the main host can also be switched at will - housing the user and other Ninken(s) within a Ninken's body instead.

Note:
- Must be posted at either the start of the battle or in the users bio, and is active at all times. (In the case of the users bio, the user will be incapable of using more than two techniques on their first post in a battle or event, and will suffer the respective chakra cost too)
- In the case of deactivation (On the users account or as a result of an enemy technique) this technique can be reactivated again at the cost of the move. Each reactivation will require more chakra than the last, doubling each time.
- This technique serves as the ultimate baseline form for Inuzuka's. After using another transformation the user is capable of reverting back to this form without completely cancelling the previous transformation, instead they retain the physiological benefits of the other transformation (Such as increased sensing and other abilities) and are also capable of re-entering the previously activated transformation without cost as it is still considered active. (Does not distort or ignore turn restrictions)
- For the purpose of this technique, normal Ninkens will each have a supply of 200 chakra that the user is capable of accessing.

Ninken: Sirris and Solaire, are High Breeds, while Sif is a Hunter Ninken and the King of Beasts' constant companions. They are not only faster, stronger, and larger than normal ninken, but are also capable of human speech. These three are white wolves with crimson celestial markings covering their erratically grown fur, with Sirris’ markings being the most complex. The first two are five feet tall, while Sif stands at four feet, and they each wear crimson-colored bracers on each leg. As a result of the selective breeding and genetic manipulation used to create them, Sirris and Solaire have experienced genetic mutations. Sirris' genetic mutation resulted in her being born with three tails that she can control separately. Solaire's mutation is less profound, as he simply suffers from heterochromia, a mutation that resulted in one of his eyes being crimson and the other an amber-like color.

Haiburīdo | The High Breed

Description: After decades of research and selective breeding, the High Breed was born. The High Breed was bred to be genetically superior to all other Ninkens immediately displayed talents that completely overshadowed that of lesser breeds from a young age. High Breeds are born with a more robust constitution, resulting in them being larger, stronger and have a base speed of 13, faster than most other breeds as well as having a passive 20 damage increase to their techniques. They also look far more wolf-like as a result of their wolf-rich bloodline. High Breeds display savage intellect, and are capable of exercising great cunning and problem-solving abilities; and as a result of their advanced intellect, they have gained the ability of articulation. Other talents include a healing factor allowing them to heal just as well as Sage Mode's passive healing per turn, heightened smell based senses on par with 3T and extends up to 1 landmark away. However High Breed's have been known to reject their Inuzuka counterparts, entering into a faux relationship for a time, and then turning on their paired Inuzuka the moment they have grown large enough to kill their ill-suited partners. As a result, the High Breed was kept secret and many voted for their extermination, but in the end, they were merely banished into the woods of Konohagakure, kept alive in case the clan should have a need for them in the future. However, should a High Breed fully accept an Inuzuka a most curious phenomenon will occur in which both the High Breed and Inuzuka will become mentally linked, capable of sharing thoughts, feelings, and experiences with each other, with such a deeply intimate bond being the absolute apex of an Inuzuka and Ninken bond. (A high breed cannot use Ninjutsu or elemental Taijutsu (Aside from Inuzuka techniques of course) by default).

( Ryōshi Ninken ) - Hunter Ninja Dog

Description: The user's Ninken are among the Hunter breed of dogs, a breed available to every Inuzuka. These dogs are capable of using all of the Inuzuka canon techniques but with added effects as well as unique abilities exclusive to the main breed, unable to be obtained by custom breeds. Commonly used as the hunter dogs, these dogs are more suited to battle than their canon counterparts and as such have a neutrality to energy based attacks and a stream Gen to all matter based attacks. In addition to this, they are capable of dealing 20 damage via freeform attacks, though this cannot go over 80 damage inflicted a turn as well as a standard 20 additional damage to their Ninken techniques. These ninken move at a speed equivalent to that of a Sage ranked Increased Speed Specialist and have a tracking level of x2 as well as smell up to 2 landmarks away. However, this is unique to the Hunter Breed of dogs.

Note: This is a passive technique, meant to describe the Ninken, and does not entail a sort of manipulation.

Gleipnir: Serving as the tethers that bind him to the earth, the iron clad weights around Kōtetsu's legs serve to limit his speed in battle. Having grown accustomed to the added weight over time, whenever he removes them he experiences a permanent boost to not just his running speed, but also to his leg related attacks.

Description: The Leg Weights used for Special Taijutsu Training with Added Weights are made through the application of a sealing formula to ordinary leg weights. The sealing formula is used to, through the use of chakra, increase the weight of the leg weights to the desired level. The seal can't be applied to anything other than the leg weights and its use is restricted to its original purpose. One can remove the leg weights but the sealing technique in them stays active indefinitely and can't be released. Additionally, the Leg Weights and their unique seal calibration makes them only usable by the ninja to whom they belong. They can't be sealed or stolen.
(Katai Omori: Doroppu) Leg Weights: Drop

Description: The user stops, bends over to reach his legs and unstraps his leg weights, dropping them to the ground. As a result the user gains a varying boost to his running speed and to all his Strong Fist Kick-related moves. However, this boost in strength and speed is completely nullified when releasing the EIG or when using any kind of movement speed enhancement technique or weight manipulation technique; they don't add up on each other.
Note: This can be used for either canon Leg Weights technique.

Læknir: A gifted healer with extensive knowledge of medicines and the human body, Kōtetsu uses his medical skills for the sake of himself and his people. He carries several pills on his person that can quickly be used in times of need, as well as a scroll with medical tools sealed within.

(Heishi Piru) Soldier Pills
Type: Supplementary
Description and Background:Soldier pills are a more combat aimed variation of the military ration pill. Upon ingesting the pill, your chakra supply doubles, but burns at a greatly accelerated rate due to the "pressure" involved. Upon ingesting the pill, any ninjutsu you use gains +15 damage and any taijutsu gains +10 for 4 turns. Upon expiration of the effects you must use an extra 10 chakra for every technique afterwards for 5 turns with no enhanced effects due to the fatigue setting in meaning you have to force your techniques more, and thereby adding to the toll it takes on your body. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use in combat and are essentially black small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach, made off of various ingredients and medicinal herbs as well as stimulants. Can only be given out to up to 4 times, excluding the user's use.
Description of Side Effects:
-Upon using a second pill in a conflict the additional chakra cost after expiry rises to +30 until healed
-Upon taking a third pill, the medical ninja will suffer cardiac arrest upon expiry of the pill.
-Costs a move per turn to use.
(Hyōrōgan) Military Ration Pills
Type: Healing
Description and Background:Military Rations Pills (兵糧丸, Hyōrōgan) are special pills that replenish one's chakra and nourish the body. It is made up of powerful stimulants and nutrients, said to allow the user to keep fighting for three days and three nights without rest. Replenishes 50 percent of the user's maximum chakra supply per pill taken, along with pumping stimulants into the body to alleviate tiredness. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use or distribute in combat and are essentially dark brown small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach. Can only be given out to up to 4 times, excluding the user's use.
Description of Side Effects:
-Taking two pills in a conflict results in hyper-stimulation of the cardiovascular system. The users heart rate and blood pressure increase to the point they become painful for 6 turns after taking the pill.
-Taking 3 pills in a conflict pushes the user's cardiovascular system to breaking point, resulting in heart failure after 4 turns.
-Costs a move per turn to use.
(Ketsueki no Zōka Piru) Blood Replenishing Pill
Type: Healing
Description and Background: Contains high concentrations of amino acids, iron and mitosis inducing enzymes designed to turbo boost the production of erythrocytes from haematopoetic stem cells in the human body. This pill alleviates and cancels the symptoms of blood loss after one turn. These pills are a basic medicine medical ninjas use or administer in combat and are essentially dark red small round pills which are swallowed and absorbed through the mucosa in the stomach
Description of Side Effects:
-Taking 2 pills leads to increased blood pressure, and increased likelihood of blood clots forming, specially through trauma.
-Taking 3 pills over stresses the cardiovascular system and causes fainting from lack of blood to the head after 4 turns.
-Costs a move per turn to use.
(Kuchiyose No Jutsu: Eisei Yougu) Summoning technique: Medical tools

Description: The medical Ninja will bite his thumb and do the summoning handseals before pressing his palm on the scroll. He will summon any of the medical tools he needs that are listed on the scroll, all or just one, depending on his own needs.

研究所 - a small tent. Into the walls of that house, parts of Nexus' eyes DNA have been inserted, so now it mixes Time And Relative Dimensions In Space , creating an effect of being larger on the inside then it is on the outside. Inside is an advanced ninja laboratory with everything needed to create antidotes and medicines.

Runic Inscriptions: Kōtetsu has several seals across his body that serve to either support, protect, or empower him in battle. The first seal Raikō Kenka is located on the bottom of his right wrist. The second seal, Nankaina Oshie, is located on his left arm. The third seal, Ura Shishō Fūinjutsu, is located on his left shoulder blade. In addition to these, he has the Hecate's Nekutai seal placed on his greatsword's hilt, and the Shi no Ōgama seal is placed on the weapon's blade. Lastly, he possesses Dākutaimuzu, a Dream Sand technique that amongst other things allowed him to empower the effects of his seals.

Description: This is a special "ninja tool summon" that allows the user to seal basic ninja tools, like shurikens, kunais, swords, etc into sealing marks placed on their clothes or their body. The ninja tools can be summoned in an instant just by touching the sealing "marks". The greatest advantage of this technique is that the time between taking out a ninja tool, taking the right stance and actually throwing it is greatly reduced and one can unleash a barrage of weapons with great speed in a small time window. Also when a weapon such as a Fūma Shuriken is summoned, the time needed to throw it can be further shortened by having prepared the weapon in fully extended form beforehand. Sasuke even shown that you can have the weapons connected to wires and linked to their sealing marks and used the technique in sealing marks he placed in his wrist bracers.
Note: Can summon up to 30 basic tools per sealing mark and can have up to 2 sealing marks.
Fuuinjutsu: Nankaina Oshie - Sealing Arts: Arcane Teachings

Description: To understand this technique, one must understand that handseals are simply a way to mold and shape the chakra that goes into a technique. Each handseal shapes the chakra in a unique way and when chained together to form techniques, they make the users chakra form a certain way to release it. One can mimic this temporarily by using a sealing technique to focus ones chakra through it, mimicking the use of handseals. This seal combines these two aspects into one seal. By having a tattoo of all 12 handseals on one of the users arms, he may focus chakra into them when using a technique. The seals will passively rearrange themselves along the users body corresponding to the seals and the order of them that are used in the technique. When each seal on the user's body is filled with chakra, the technique will be released. Thus, the user can replace the handseals of any technique that is released from his body. This, however, can only be applied to the basic 5 elements.
-Must be present in the users bio.
-Can only be used 2 times per battle, once per turn in one technique, 2 turns apart.
-Last use revokes the users elemental specialty, requiring for all techniques the normal number of handseals after that point.
-Can only be used on techniques that are released from the users body.
-First activation of the seal costs 30 chakra points and counts as a move. Each technique used through it costs 20 more than normal.

Description: The user forms a Fuuinjutsu that is simple in nature yet advanced in it's applications. Channeling chakra, the user creates a seal that is applied to a weapon of the user's choice. The purpose of this seal is to extend the user's chakra manipulation through an instrument of his choosing. This allows the user to release Jutsu from this instrument or item of choice as long as it's in the form of a streamed jutsu, like Great Majestic Annihilation or a projectile like Water Bullet. A one time use seal, this can be applied either in battle or pre applied before battle by placing in the user's bio. After applied, lasts until the user cancels it. In order for this to work, the weapon has to be in contact with the user's body or said jutsu will be released from their original point of release.
Note: Can only be used on weapons the user owns.
Note: This seal also binds the weapon to the user, meaning it can't be lost unless the user himself throws it away.
(Fuinjutsu/Kenjutsu : Shi no Ōgama) - Sealing/Sword Arts: Lost Blades

Description: Lost blades is a very unique type of technique. Applying both sealing techniques with kenjutsu, making the technique, Lost Blades. The user will apply a seal on the blade portion of their sword. Doing this, the user is able to slash at anything that pertains to chakra in it, be it medical chakra, other forms of chakra. (excludes senjutsu or fuinjutsu). By doing this, the moment the user slashes at something, the seal instantly activates, sealing the chakra inside said technique, allowing for the slash to disperse the technique. This makes it look like everything the user cuts at, gets slashed and dispersed.

( Yumeton | Dākutaimuzu) - Dream Sand: Dark Times

Description: Dark Times is a dream sand infusion technique that focuses on infusing the Yumeton with different aspects of his aresnal.
A Rank- This infusion allows for the user to infuse his different elemental chakra with Yumeton's (Earth and Water) in ratio's that would layer them with Yumeton crystals. For water techniques, they would appear to glimmer with the white crystals of inert Dream Sand and gain cutting properties, while earth techniques would be encrusted with the inert crystals that gave it the same. This would cause both elements used to raise 1 rank/20 damage in effectiveness(does not change S/Ws). The user must perform 3 handseals when doing this effect and this may be done 4 times per battle, needing a 2 turn cooldown. This counts of a move but may be used simultaneous to another water or earth technique of course. This adds 10 chakra to the cost of a move

S Rank - This ability may be posted in the user's biography or at the start of battle so that he may start the battle with it prepped, and is a passive ability requiring chakra. The user may infuse his equipment (seals, clothing, weapons, kunai/kunai equivalent, etc) with Yumeton, giving these objects a shimmering look due to the white crystals influence within them. For defensive purposes, this gives anything coated basic C rank protection from physical damage. The user's weapons also gain the effect of being able to basically inject the opponent with a powerful dose of Dream Sand upon penetrating their skin or being inside of him in some way due to this coating(S-rank). The user's seal/kanji based techniques and abilities become enhanced with Yumeton and the usual Kanji material is replaced by a Kanji made of Dream Sand that is charged with more chakra and power than the original, thus allowing the seal to draw from a stronger source of chakra as well as being fortified by the dream sand crystals themselves. This allows sealing tags to be capable of dealing damage equal to it's rank when something makes contact with it . The addition of the Dream Sand kanji as a power source makes it so that techniques that fit this category raise in effectiveness by 1 Rank/20 Damage Points as well as requiring 10 more chakra to activate. This only works on Sealing based techniques up to A rank (Advanced Fuuin users are able to increase S-rank Fuuinjutsu techniques by +10 damage/chakra.) rank and only effects seal/scroll/kanji based techniques and abilities. This variation can be utilized three times per battle with a two-turn cooldown. While a seal under the effect of Dark Times is in play, this technique cannot be activated, the cooldown starting when the Fuuinjutsu it is adorned to becoming void. The effects of Dark Times lasts for as long as the seal it is adorned to does. The user cannot coat a weapon while Dark Times is used on a Fuuinjutsu and vice versa, nor can the S-rank version be used while the A-rank version is in play. No A-rank and above Yumeton techniques can be used in the same turn Dark Times is activated for either version.

Weaponry: Caladbolg: "The Wolf Knight Greatsword". Crafted by a master swordsmith, Caladbolg is a greatsword that Kōtetsu took while fleeing the destroyed capital of Chungsu after the Kyūbi’s attack. Though it was considered a national treasure, Caladbolg’s steel blade was shrouded within a dark legacy, with some saying that it brought out the murderous intent within a person, while other rumors claimed that the rage resided within the blade itself. The blade is an inky black, has a silver lanyard on its hilt. The legendary weapon has a unique composition thanks to a Mythril lining that serves to boost its power.

In addition to his sword, Kōtetsu has a wide assortment of shuriken and kunai, flash and smoke bombs, and ninja wire in the pouch strapped to his left leg. He also has several scrolls, pre-made sealing tags, and various other ninja tools stored in another pouch that he wears strapped to the back of his waist for easy access. He possesses a heavy-duty version of the standard paper bombs. This tag has substantially more power than a regular exploding tag and has the kanji for “erupt” instead of “explode” written on them and can't be discerned from their weaker counterparts at a glance.

Description: Keotsu's legendary blade Mythos has been with him through trials and tribulations of all sorts; and in turn, Keotsu has used his strength to help his friends through their own challenges. The strength Keotsu could offer was always limited, though, as so many of his teachings were made with his own blade in mind. This technique allows others to use Mythos, when they normally could not. Because Mythos is tied to Keotsu's soul, he will perform a small ritual with one that Keotsu is incredibly close to: Keotsu will place Mythos in its entirety atop one of his brothers-in-arms' weapons, and coat it in an incredibly thin layer of the Mythril that Mythos is made of. In this action, Keotsu accepts this person into his soul, marking them as someone of great importance to him. This imparts the weapon with all the abilities of Mythos, except for the ability to change shape, the original ability that Mythos possessed in its form of "Mikomi", long, long ago.
*Note: Cannot be used in battle. The purpose of this technique is to allow others to be able to use Mythos.
*Note: True to the blade, if a piece of Mythos is ever used against Keotsu, this technique will "deactivate", and that person will be as if they could not have used Mythos in the first place.
*Note: Those who Keotsu teaches "Brother" will be able to use (Ten'notsurugi: Mythos, Jinsei no Sāberu) Astrum Sword: Mythos, Vita Saber with all of its abilities, except the ability to change shape.

Description:[ "The Blade of Heaven...Mythos the Life Sabre. One of the Ten Shinning Weapons." When Keotsu returned to the known continent from his journey to regions unknown, he returned with his blade Mythos in a new form; some secret event took place which reconfigured the blade and created a powerful connection between Keotsu and the sword. The Mythril blade retained its ability to change it's shape, but not it's mass when subjected to Keotsu's chakras, as did the scabbard of the weapon, though the two were no longer explicitly linked. A few improvements were noted by Keotsu, though: the blade seemed to resonate better than before, boosting his powers in battle: offensive Kenjutsu techniques and Command Arts have their power increased by +20, and defensive and supplementary Kenjutsu and Command Arts are increased in their effectiveness by +20 (that is, a defensive technique that is A-rank (60 damage) would be capable of now defending from an S-rank (80 damage) ; second, the blade came to reject energies that were foreign to Keotsu - that's to say, for example, if an enemy tried to use Nagashi after grabbing the blade, the energy would stop completely due to the nature of the blade's composition. This particular power comes about from the blade's new found synergy with Keotsu, in an effort to prevent it from being used against him. Retaining all the properties of the metal it was forged from, Mythos is indestructible and will never dull, in any of its forms.

*The user can manipulate the blade’s form during battle at any time, but it costs 35 chakra to do so, and also counts towards one of that turn’s three allotted moves.
*Can only be wielded by Keotsu. When someone else tries to hold the blade, it will reject their chakra and increase its density exponentially, making it too heavy to be lifted. However, it reverts to its original density when Keotsu is holding it.
*While the sword can transform into different types of weapons, like a katana or spear, it is bound by its mass, meaning that the form it takes on has to be within the realms of creating from the same amount of matter.
*While Mythos is in hand, Keotsu is unable to cast Genjutsu at all.
(Jūhō Kibaku Fuda) Heavy Artillery Exploding Tag

Description: A heavy-duty version of the standard issue paper bomb, this exploding tag has substantially more power than a regular exploding tag, and is generally used in heavy demolition. Other than being .5 inches longer than a regular exploding tag and with the kanji for “erupt” instead of “explode” in the middle, they cannot be discerned from their weaker counterparts at a glance. These exploding tags can be used in place of weaker ones in jutsu involving them.

*In order to use these, it must be mentioned in the user’s bio that they carry this version of the exploding tag – otherwise, the user cannot use these.

Scientific Ninja Tools: Kōtetsu has a number of scientific ninja tools that he uses in battle. The first allows him to change his attire at a moment's notice, the second is a Gauntlet worn on his right arm that has several pre-made techniques stored within for quick use. The third tool is an absorption arm worn on his left hand, and the last tool consists of three smoke-flash bombs.

Description: Requip is a unique brand of ninja technology namely used for those always on the move. Coming in the form of apparel; the user has the innate ability to have clothing that morphs and changes form in order to suit their needs. Within the fabric of the clothing – there exists specialized ninja technology that controls the strings and thus with the use of chakra can command it to take any form she desires. This can range from shifting from casual wear to combat ready clothing on the fly. It mimics any clothing the user may also have somewhere at home and even the coloration changes as well. This combines two aspects: the Henge no Jutsu and the morphing capabilities of the microfibers but the transformation is permanent until changed again. Transforming the clothing is passive and doesn’t take a move slot however needs – 5 per use to do so. While transforming a bright light is also emitted to prevent others from seeing the transformation until it fully forms if needed.

Description: The Shinobi Gauntlet (忍小手, Shinobigote), often shortened to just Gauntlet (小手, Kote), is a scientific ninja tool that is worn on the forearm. The Gauntlet was developed as a way to allow anyone to use complicated jutsu without the need for training or the requisite skills.To use, Scroll Cartridges that have had jutsu sealed into them are loaded into the Gauntlet's chamber. At first appearing as a normal sealing scroll, upon absorbing a technique it shrinks down to the size similar to a real bullet and can then be loaded into a tool to be activated later. When a nature transformation technique is activated from a Scroll Cartridge, the user make a unique single handed hand seal corresponding to the intended jutsu's nature using the hand of the arm that the Gauntlet is worn on. This causes the Gauntlet to release the jutsu from its Scroll Cartridge, firing it wherever the Gauntlet is aimed. Because the Gauntlet's jutsu require no chakra to perform, the user can gain an advantage in battle by releasing what would normally be chakra-taxing techniques in quick succession.
Note: Academy Student to Genin Ninja can have up to Forbidden ranks sealed, done in either battle, training, or the Ninja World. Chunin can have up to S ranks and Jounin and up ninja can have A ranks and below sealed within a Kote.

Description: After performing the hand seal Tiger the user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body, before instead expelling it in the form of a number of dragon head-shaped fireballs. The user then skilfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent. The temperature of the created flames is so great that, even with the briefest of contact, they are capable of easily burning human flesh and the fireballs are dense enough to behave almost as solid, being able to deliver impact damage in adition to the fire damage. However, this also means that they can be deflected as a solid projectiles.

Description: A cyborg attachment to the user's body, the user has a robotic limb that allows for him to create spheres of energy that are capable of absorbing chakra up to S rank level. These spheres are capable of dealing brute force on impact as well, growing to large heights, up to 4 meters in radius. Starting at roughly rasengan size, these spheres grow proportionally to the size of the technique absorbed. Normal Ninja are able to make use of one of these devices via specialized gloves that allow them to absorb 1 Ninjutsu per turn up to S rank while Cyborgs have these attachments and are able to absorb up to Forbidden powered attacks and 1 from each arm per turn.

( Kemuri Senkōdama ) - Smoke-Flash Bombs

Description: Similar in use to the smoke and flash bombs respectively, this tech dazes the senses by emitting a powerful sound and light. It was powerful enough to block even enhanced senses of sight and hearing, leaving those with vision and sound based sensing useless. It's major downside, however, is that due to affecting a wide area, allies could also be caught in the blast radius if not warned beforehand. Due to the mass amount of chakra released from the explosion, chakra based sensing dilate also left useless. These are also able to negate B rank and below technological sensing devices as well.

(Saishū Keijō) – Final Shape

Description: Ancient calcified essence of the Kulullu, the Beast of Sealing; it appears as a solid mass of bone-like frozen matter no larger than the size of a fist. The Final Shape reflects the Kulullu’s mastery over the Sealing Arts, able to manipulate barriers in such a way that allowed it to produce any non-geometric shape it desired. Though as a product that tends more toward the pillar of Life and Chaos, rather than Order and Chakra, it tends to prefer the former in its activation. The artifact confers on its user greater mastery over three barrier techniques: the Four Violet Flames barrier (A), Four Red Yang (S), and the Six Red Yang Formation (F). In order to use Final Shape, one uses it as an infusion of chakra and vitality, depending on the level applied. The infusion changes the inherent mechanics of each barrier type. On a basic level the technique allows the user to shape any of these three barriers to suit their needs, escaping basic geometric formations that they are confined to. That said, they must still be used as traditional barriers. They cannot be shaped into projectiles, formed into armor, or anything that does not confine them to being used as constructs to defend or confine a certain area of the map or landmark. Each barrier is modified to be able to absorb a certain amount of damage akin to a health pool, rather than being broken by a single technique that meets a threshold. When applied to the Violet Flames barrier it allows it to absorb 100 damage before breaking, at the cost of a 30 chakra infusion. The Four Red Yang Formation is afforded the capability to absorb up to 200 points of damage at the cost of a 60 chakra infusion and 20 health points, and its Six Red Yang counterpart can absorb up to 400 points of damage. This comes at the cost of 100 additional chakra infusion and 80 health points. The essence allows the user to overcome the need for multiple partners to use it. Regardless of the rank applied, once the barrier expires the user cannot use Fuuinjutsu above A-Rank for three turns. This Final Shape was issued in Arc 16, and will be sunset at the beginning of Arc 19.
