This is a random idea but what if the Jubi is seeking consciousness? Or was conscious at some point?

I only ask this because it had to exist basically by itself at one point, and to create more things it would have to have some sort of goal. The sage might of known this and channeled/divided it's power accordingly, planning that the Jubi will be faced with the resolve it was looking for through Naruto (and Company). Like the Jubi is merely a representation of accumulative of hate both from the past and present, but because it has been divided it's missing some of the accumulative hate (power) from the other bijuu.

I just wondering how long the Jubi has been here. And was battling with the sage fate or foretold in some way. Another thought is if the Jubi is doing what Madara/Obito are somewhat doing, progressing the side of evil to also progress the side of good.

I've been pondering about this and it's obviously sounds about right ,
I mean hiruzen was with them also he did not get blown up to paper bits haha , so yeah I totally agree he is after naruto I mean I remember he was after him ever since he seen the tail beasts and the sage in him when juubi was a 2nd form,
And also obito being in control is not or shouldn't be possibly he sucked up the juubi he isn't a trained jinchuruki so he can't possibly be in control that quick, he also used "O-BI-TO" like some lost robot, and plus minato is also up there with naruto so e might pull a double hand attack and try to absorb hot halfs of kyubbi
The Hachibi is after cause bee is obviously not near haha
Plus juubi has a little problem with just naruto now he is intimidated by him and his power and spirit

Juubito's true target was Naruto, Sasuke only stepped in the way to protect Naruto from Juubito's attack with his Susanoo acting as shield.

Since last week this much was quite clear to me, hence the reason i have not said much in the thread, however, of course i agree the target is Naruto owing to the fact that regardless of whatever plot twists or characters kishi introduces to the story Juubi (Juubito) remains destructor and Naruto (Reincarnation of SO6P/Rikudö Sennins Successor) remains Saviour.

My main point of interest however is the means in which the Juubi seeks to destroy Naruto. Does he simply wish to destroy him and the chakra resononance of Rikudo Sennin within him??

Or does he still seek to extract the full Chakra of the Kyuubi and thus become complete once again (it seems Hachibi would be small fry to acquire at this stage). Although i now doubt the story would go in this direction.
