Apparently you didn't see clearly enough where Madara says space was being distorted. Plus, the raw scan clearly says 空白 , which means Kūhaku, which means space, area. So what was bent was the space arround him, not the air. Seriously, if you don't know how to read then I won't even bother with the rest. Begone

Juubito wins with almost no difficulty. Unlike Madara, Obito wont play around. He will either transform to the Juubi and absorb all of Gai's chakra, or summon tree and charge with TBB. No contest for the Juubi's jinchuuriki.

The Onmyoudon staff is only physical chakra. Its shape can manipulated. It being bent can happen with twisting air. Something Gai actually did rather than bending space.
