Juubi's colour ?

I've seen fan art and other pics, as well as animations and they all seem to portray the Juubi with a Whittish - Greyish colour including Juubito !
Have we seen it ? If not how can we know the colour ? And why is this colourway the most dominant ? I mean why not make it purple ._. ?

The juubi is shakaku color thats what it says on the wiki i just assumed it was that color anyways
