I've always wondered why the Juubi would attack humans in the first place? it's obvious he existed centuries or perhaps thousands of years before the Sage existed and yet it only became prominently hostile during the time of the Sage when people were at constant war, maybe it has a reason to turn hostile, like the Bijuus who were originally hostile to humans who try to use them.
