As frighteningly powerful the Juubi is it is not as bleak as it seems the juubi itself first off is incomplete so the apex of its power is not present within its body.Plus since it is not a sentient creature it and its power is manipulated by whoever controls it.So whoever controls the juubi is the main threat.If the connection is severed the Juubi will be rendered in a state of chaos and it would lack the guide and coordination of obito and madara.In such a state the juubi will be more supsectible to team oriented attacks by the good guys and completely useless to obito and madara unless their control.



Once out of control of the bad guys the juubi will cause massive devastation to everything and everyone including madara and obitnce the Juubi is out of his grips.Naruto who now has a perfect jinchuriki can lend his powers he gains from sage mode to kurama.Sage mode lets you take in natural energy as long as you have the capacity to take it in.With kurama working together with naruto he has the ability to take in more energy then he could of ever have alone.You might as well just stop thinking of naruto in sage mode and just think of kuramas chakra levels multiplied by several times.
If he can get a clean powerful one shot on the uncontrolled juubi that should be enough to end the battle

I do not mean to make it seem like the juubi will be completely obliterated but it think this will be a major factor.
From what obito said he wants to aviod a battle with the juubi to preserves it chakra so i can only imagine that a battle would hamper there chances so while they try their best not to fight the good guys can just use that time to sever their connection and i think naruto lending his power to kurama is the only way i mean the last move pulled by bee and kakashi was nice but i think the scope of power needed to put a dent in the juubi is a level only naruto and kurama working together can do

Im guessing it has something to do with transfering their will to the juubi and once they fill it with intentions it becomes unstable

That would be a bugger to deal with, if it consumes madara's will....Then again madara may get along fine with it, due to it's foul and horrible chakra.. whereas madara has his own personal gains LOL.

It would just be a troll if obito gave it his will... and like you stated it may become unstable :O

hmm seem possible but i think juubi will somehow get a mind of its own, to fulfill the sage's words saying the bijuus will one day become one and be led to the right part knowing the meaning of power. all in all not bad.
